Souvenirs from our youth we just can’t seem to part with include Hanson CDs and acne scars. While we haven’t yet been able to discard the former, we’re thankfully able to bid farewell to the latter with Yes To™’s Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Serum. Due in large part to power ingredient grapefruit, the serum’s lightweight formula minimizes the appearances of blemishes, revitalizes damaged skin, evens out skin tone, and brightens and firms… meaning that we’ll be hoarding it about as intensely as we did those CDs.
I received this along with the facial scrub in my birchbox and am completely unhappy with the serum. It left my face tight and sticky, almost like I had a mask on. I would not recommend this product at all.1
This product left a nasty feeling film on my skin. I myself would not purchase this product in full size.1
I received Yes To™ Grapefruit Dark Spot Correcting Serum as a sample. I wanted to let people know that it left my skin feeling very sticky and my skin did not see any improvement.1
I was really looking forward to trying this product. I didn't like the scent as soon as I opened the sample, but decided to try it anyway. Left my skin feeling very tight and tacky. Immediately had to go rewash my face.1
I was so excited to try this product when I got it in my Birchbox, but I did not like it at all. It left my face feeling sticky, tight, and just gross. I had to re-wash my face immediately before I could go on with my day.1
I was excited to try this on an area where I had an acne scar. After I applied, the smell was very strong but the texture wasn't horrible. I felt like it was very drying not long after. The next morning my face was itchy and the place where I applied it was glowing red! My skin did not agree with this product.1
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell...starts out grapefruit-y but quickly turns into a chemical sour smell. It also didn't absorb into my skin as well as I hoped it would and left a sticky residue on my face. When it dried, it turned into a dry film (sort of like when I do an egg white facial). I only had a sample so I have no idea if it works at all in terms of correcting dark spots. Meh.1
Received a tiny sample in my box -- most of it squirted onto the floor, at first making me disappointed that I wouldn't get to see if it really corrected spots. But when I put it on my face, it felt as though I was applying a soap. I waited about ten minutes before scrubbing my face again to get the residue off.1
I got this in my box with the matching scrub. I applied it after using the scrub and found it to be horribly sticky. It left a thick mask on my face that I could feel if I smiled or anything. I left it on for awhile I see if it absorbed, but it didn't. I had to wash it off and apply my regular moisturizer. Maybe I could use it on little spots, but def not my entire face.1
I want to like this brand and I want something to work on my dark spots but this product doesn't stay on.
You pump out what looks like green slime and when you apply it you have to be carful that as its drying you don't peel it right off again.
I don't feel like anything is soaking in. It's more like a mask than anything else and my skin doesn't feel like it's moisturized so I want to put lotion over the top.
All and all just not really great.
