In 19th century France, the tomato was referred to as "the apple of love." And while we can’t promise that this gentle, tomato-based cleanser will improve your romantic life, its skin-brightening powers will give your complexion a boost. Perfect for all skin types, the nourishing formula maintains your skin’s natural pH balance while removing dirt and oil.
Doesn't seem to do that well for clearing acne, and I *hate* the smell! It smells like baby powder, but INCREDIBLY strong. I love Yes To's other products, but I was really disappointed in this one.1
The smell is TERRIBLE. It kind of reminds me of a stale-smelling face cream that my grandmother would've worn decades ago. That's the best way I can describe it. I didn't feel like it cleaned my acne-prone, oily skin that well. I like this line but will stick to my traditional exfoliating cleanser.2
The smell reminds me of something, not sure what, but something I'm not a big fan of. Feels okay on the skin. Honestly, it's just not my favorite.2
I have stubborn acne and skin that seems to get oily without reason. Sadly this cleaner really didn't help in the acne prevention area what so ever. It did give my complexion a bit of a boost but I had to abandon it for a cleanser that was better at helping to rid me of my acne issues.3
I have horrible blackheads, so I am constantly experimenting with scrubs. This scrub exfoliated the dry skin off my face, but didn't take care of my blackheads. To get an idea of the texture, it is grittier than "clean and clear blackhead scrub". It also had a weird smell to it.3
I have tried lots of over the counter washes. This was one of the ones I enjoyed using, but it didn't seem to work for me. I liked the smell and texture of the cleanser itself. Unfortunately, my acne didn't seem to notice that I was trying something new. I would still recommend this to anyone looking to try something a little gentler on their skin but not necessarily for acne.3
My son and I both tried it and neither one of us seen much results and we hate using it because of the smell.3
I purchased this product because I am a fan of Yes To products and I was in need of a great cleanser. After using this for two weeks straight, I didn't notice much of a difference in my face at all. It didn't dry out my face, didnt make it oily, didn't cause breakouts but it didn't prevent blemishes either. I just felt like this product was pointless for me. Im still giving three stars because I passed it on to my husband, who is prone to blemishes and dry skin, and he liked it okay. He didn't notice any amazing results but he did say he noticed a slight improvement after a few weeks.3
This product does help out a bit, it's kind of hard to see the results after the first use. It is one of those products that you have to constantly keep using and after a few uses you will see the results. Also the smell is not that great if your looking for something that smells great.3
I have combination skin and this just seemed to dry out my skin in the already dry area. It didn't seem to control my oil at all.3
