From last-minute trips to late-night drinks, a busy schedule can wreak havoc on your skin care routine. Thankfully, these oil-free towelettes are designed to pick up the slack, keeping your skin fresh and clean even when your sink and bathroom shelf are out of reach. These 98 percent natural wipes pull triple-duty as a cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer, all in a handy pocket-sized package. Organic cucumber extract removes dead skin cells and relieves puffiness, while aloe vera soothes and hydrates skin. Green tea’s dual antioxidant and astringent properties help to ease troubled skin and prevent unexpected breakouts.
I do not have sensitive skin and usually can try any kind of facial product. After using 1 wipe for the first time my skin began to burn and turn red in blotchy areas! I immediately looked up other reviews and noticed many other women writing the same had happened to them. Not worth the gamble to me. Also I frly the wipes were a little drying on the skin not as much moisture as they claim.1
This product smells good and says its hypoallergenic, but it burned my sensitive skin, and didnt really take off all of my makeup. Also I learned the hard way these are NOT for eye makeup removal. That burned even more!1
I have tried this product before because of all the good reviews that I have read. I tried it again and sadly it made my skin turn red, burn and just felt awful. I tried to wash it off but my face was red all night. My skin is not even that sensitive. My boyfriend tried it and hated it as well he said it just made his skin irritated and feel weird. Sounds good but isn't!1
I know you can buy this product at a regular drugstore which is disappointing for a Birchbox sample.
This did not remove my makeup, especially my eye makeup.
It also irritated my skin.
I had purchased the full size of these wipes a long time before I got this sample, so I already had an opinion on them. I thought I would give them another try, but had the same terrible results! These wipes say they are made for sensitive skin, which I have, but they are awful for me! They leave my skin very very red and irritated after using! They also don't seem to remove makeup that well. When I tried a wipe from the sample, I used it to remove some under eye concealer. My eyes were so red and sore! They hurt to the touch for at least 2 or 3 days after! I had to wait at least a week to apply concealer because my eyes were so sore! I don't know if I'm the only one that this has happened to, so maybe it's just my skin type.1
Broke me out and made my skin burn... Would not recommend.1
I was, at first, happy to see this sample in my box. I love make-up remover wipes. *Good* make-up remove wipes. So much so that I throw a tiny fit if I run out of them and have forgotten to buy more. However, the Yes to Cucumber wipes had a very strange smell. Something that reminded me of old baby powder. I also had to use my regular make-up wipes to get all of my water proof mascara off, but that could be because the wipe I got was at the top of the package and didn't have enough remover stuff on it. The ones at the top usually aren't as effective as the middle to bottom wipes. Still, I wont be purchasing this product. The smell was too weird. I'll stick with my trusty Neutragena wipes.1
It works on removing makeup but it made my skin burn. Like really burn, then I was left with a red face for a few hours. Not very pleasant.1
Sensitive skin beware! My face turned BRIGHT red a minute or two after using these wipes, and then felt a little heat all over my face. I washed my face with my normal cleanser, and had to sit around for about thirty minutes before the redness went away. For the minute I was actually using the wipes, they smelled and felt great- just not the right thing for my skin, unfortunately!1
So excited to try this only to have the smell of throw up near my face and now on my face it repulsing. This is the worst smelling wipe on the planet.1
