From last-minute trips to late-night drinks, a busy schedule can wreak havoc on your skin care routine. Thankfully, these oil-free towelettes are designed to pick up the slack, keeping your skin fresh and clean even when your sink and bathroom shelf are out of reach. These 98 percent natural wipes pull triple-duty as a cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer, all in a handy pocket-sized package. Organic cucumber extract removes dead skin cells and relieves puffiness, while aloe vera soothes and hydrates skin. Green tea’s dual antioxidant and astringent properties help to ease troubled skin and prevent unexpected breakouts.
The smell was what someone that had never seen a cucumber would guess that a cucumber smelled like. It smelled atrocious. It did not get my face clean at all, I had to wash my face with a cleanser afterwards just to get my makeup off. And worst of all, the "gentle, hypoallergenic" wipes made my face burn, itch, and turn bright red. Nothing about these made me want to use them again.1
This is supposed to be hypoallergenic, but i had a terrible allergic reaction. I was really bummed about it bc it would've been nice to have cleansing wipes. oh well.1
....but I didn't. I actually owned this before, I bought them to try after the gym. Holy heck in a handbasket, these suckers made me BREAK OUT. Like, badly. You couldn't pay me to use these on my face ever again.1
I love makeup removing wipes because they're simple, easy-to-use, and I'm one of those weird people who hates washing their face. I was excited to use this product because it came with 30 wipes; that's a full month's use, people! However, as hypoallergenic as it claims to be, it certainly didn't feel or look that way 30 seconds after using the product. My skin turned bright red and itchy and slightly puffy. I also felt a burning sensation. Not good. I know I have extremely sensitive skin, but I suppose their hypoallergenic formula just didn't mesh well with me. :(1
I had such high hopes for this product but when I used it on my face it left a stinging, burning sensation and made my face very red! I loved the scent and packaging but have fairly sensitive skin but it looked and smelled so great I just had to try it! I suggest that you stay away if you have more sensitive skin.1
These supposedly-gentle wipes made my skin burn and turn very red.1
I've seen this product on the shelves at ULTA, the grocery store, and Target. I'm pretty low maintenance with my skincare, so I am a huge fan of the easy wipes! I've always been intrigued by these wipes, but have never previously purchased them for no apparent reason. As soon as I received my Birchbox, I went for this product first simply because I had been meaning to try it for awhile. The product felt good on my face and I was already contemplating purchasing them when I started to feel a burning on my face. I looked in the mirror and my face was blood-red and broken out in a gigantic rash. It looked sunburned and was severely itchy, hot, and painful. Having very sensitive skin, this has happened before with heavily scented products but NEVER with anything specifically labeled for sensitive skin/hypoallergenic. Needless to say, the rest of the pack went straight into the trash can and I'll be sticking with my current brand of face wipes! OUCH!1
I have skin that is a little toward the sensitive side. I used a Yes to Cucumbers wipe once on my face and my entire face turned bright red and burned all over. I was also not fond of the smell - it smelled like cucumbers but much sweeter. It was too strong of a scent for me.1
It burns my skin... And smells weird.
I'm pretty positive the wipes even broke my skin out. Never buying this!
I can't use anything with fragrance, natural or synthetic. I use a lot of ole henrickson and algenist. I love new products I just find I can't use 90% of them, not because they're not good, but because I have an allergic reaction to scent. My skin starts to itch within 30 minutes of application.1
