From last-minute trips to late-night drinks, a busy schedule can wreak havoc on your skin care routine. Thankfully, these oil-free towelettes are designed to pick up the slack, keeping your skin fresh and clean even when your sink and bathroom shelf are out of reach. These 98 percent natural wipes pull triple-duty as a cleanser, exfoliator, and moisturizer, all in a handy pocket-sized package. Organic cucumber extract removes dead skin cells and relieves puffiness, while aloe vera soothes and hydrates skin. Green tea’s dual antioxidant and astringent properties help to ease troubled skin and prevent unexpected breakouts.
So I actually had a little allergic reaction to this product. I used it on my face and almost immediately turned red and started a burning feeling. It eventually went away after a little but it didn't make me want to use it more. Plus I'm not really a fan of the cucumber smell.1
I am highly familiar with this product because my girlfriend has been using them for several years. We can buy them for $4 at our local grocery store in the natural section. I personally, am not a fan. I don't feel like cucumber scent goes well with a man's chemistry. That said, my girlfriend loves them and appreciated having a few extra for her purse.1
Im not the kind of guy that would ever use these, but my girlfriend uses them all the time and she says they are great for travel/vacation.1
I got this in my latest Birchbox. I am not that impressed with it. I gave the, to my wife. Hopefully she likes it which means I like it!!1
This product burns and stings. I use face wipes almost daily and was excited to try these. The clothes themselves are strong and thick, if it wasn't for the burn I would love them.1
I bought these wipes and could not figure out why they make my face sting and burn after use. After reading the other comments I see that I'm not alone. Not sure what ingredient has this effect but if your skin is at all sensitive skip these and go with the CVS brand instead.1
These wipes remove makeup very well, but they sting my skin really badly, and leave my entire face looking red and blotchy after use.1
I didn't receive this in a Birchbox but I have it at home from a makeup remover run to a pharmacy. Unfortunately, I've found that it absolutely BURNS, especially in the under eye area. Around my cheekbone area, it's so drying that my skin has started to peel. The only reason I'm still using it is that I purchased a 45 pack and it's pretty effective at removing hard-core makeup. I guess I'm just going to have to put aloe vera and moisturizer more often!1
These wipes are refreshing enough but the cucumber smell was so strong that I washed my face after using them and threw away the rest of the wipes--and I like the smell of cucumbers! if they toned down the smell say, a million percent, these would be much better.1
I bought these when going on a missions trip so I could easily remove my make-up. I loved that it was organic but it took a lot more to get the make-up off. I personally will stick with Equate on this one.1
