Lip balms are the skincare equivalent of socks: They always seem to go missing. Our solution: Stash these lip Yes to™ Carrots butters everywhere from your desk drawer to your glove compartment. Fortified with organic fruits and veggies, they soften parched lips without the help of unwelcome chemicals (no parabens, petroleum, or phthalates here) and come in lip-smacking natural flavors like mint, citrus, and berry.
I really did't like the texture of the lip balm. It is very waxy.1
Maybe the one that I got was a dud, but it was suppose to be citrus scented but it just smelt and tasted waxy. I have several other yes to carrots! products and never had a problem like this, so I won't hold this dud against them.1
I think I'm allergic to this product because my lips were actually more cracked after using. I'm sticking with Fresh's lip balm, which even includes SPF.1
I had tried the 'say yes to cucumber' face wipes, but I was pretty disappointed because I'm extremely allergic to coconut, and it was one of the first ingredients. I wish there was a place to enter particular allergies so I wouldn't get a product I can't even touch.1
I received the mint flavor. I LOVE chapstick however; this brand is very greasy. I have no intention of purchasing this product.1
I did not like the texture at all. It feels really greasy and doesn't seem to soak into my lips like a normal chapstick.1
I was really excited when I bought my first tube of this lip butter (in Pomegranate) a few years back. Sadly, I still have that particular lip butter, sitting in my desk drawer, and it's been used about 10 times.
The flavor/smell was a little off for me. It smelled almost plastic-y to me, and definitely not natural. In addition, whenever I swipe this on, I can feel the lip butter literally CAKED on my lips, and I don't swipe on a lot.
Some of my friends swear by this stuff, but when I saw a new one in my Birchbox this month, I cringed, but since it was a different flavor (mint), I gave it a try.
Sadly, I am still not a fan of this. When I put on lip balms/butters, I want to feel my lips moisturizing, not feel like there is goop piled on top of them. Also, mint lip balms/butters should smell and feel refreshing, not fake. Give me any other brand please!
I was really disappointed in this sample. This is a brand I see at Walgreens and Target...I expect a lot better quality from Birchbox.
Also, it's not effective. I don't feel like it does a good job of moisturizing.
I have seen this product around and was interested in it but never got around to buying it, so I was pretty excited when I got it last month. I use it from time to time and every time I do I feel like it leaves too much on my lips. It is not smooth enough for me.2
I didn't think this was much better than a chapstick you can purchase in a drugstore for much less. Plus it didn't have spf in it. Not bad, just not worth the money.2
