Whether it’s a late night or an early morning, looking tired is never chic. Luckily, there are ways to fake the chipper look (even as you’re dozing into your coffee). Jouer’s Essential Eye Clarifier Pencil comes in a universal creamy nude color that instantly perks up tired eyes. And it’s not just for mornings — stash the pencil in your purse for a mid-day or pre-dinner pick me up. Best of all, the pencil can be used alone or underneath your favorite eye makeup.
This little pencil has been a game changer for my tired eyes during my early mornings at work. It's not WHITE like some eye liners that you could use, its much more toned down. A light skin color basically. Honestly if you didn't tell someone you had it on they wouldn't know. But when you apply it to just one eye and then look in the mirror you can definitely see a difference! I like that it's subtle because I don't wear makeup on a day to day basis, but this gives me the more awake look my eyes need at 5am! I love this product and will absolutely reorder when I am out.5
It's a little tough to get on at first but it looks wonderful, makes my eyes look big and as if I had a good nights rest. It's also great for the corner of your eye to had a little brightening5
For myself, I love this product! I keep it in my drawer for easy access, most nights I don't get a lot of sleep. When I put this on, I feel fantastic for some reason? It's like, it makes my eyes look like I got a goodnight sleep, even though I didn't! This is one if my must haves!!5
It's so hard to get my circle-remover creams all the way up close to my eyes. I always worry about getting stuff on my lashes. This pencil is like a sneaky, highly-controllable under eye helper. It instantly makes me look more awake. It helps me get right up the the lash line without covering my lashes in good. Just a great, priceless little tool.5
I really think this is a great way to make your eyes look more awake especially on those mid week days when you feel like time is dragging.5
I love this product! It is perfect for taking the red tired look out of your eyes. It's very natural looking. It's not harsh like using an all white eye pencil to line your inner eye (waterline). It goes on smoothly and looks great all day. It was worth the purchase.5
This is such a brightening little pencil. It works for on the waterline, and I love using it for the inner corner of my eye and brow bone highlighting. When I purchased this, it came with its own sharpener, which is really helpful for keeping its bright neutral color.4
Sometimes you just have one of those days when you need to look more awake than you actually are. This product is perfect for that. When my eyes are looking a little tired or puffy, I apply a bit of this eyeliner at my lash line and it instantly brightens up my eyes and makes me look alive again.4
This penciel is handy to swipe on my water line when I'm feeling really red, or when I wake up after a poor nights rest. It makes me look awake!4
I'm quite pale and I've used white for this purpose before with so-so results, but white liner tends to be whiter than the whites of my eyes, so I worry it just makes my eyes look yellow and/or pink in comparison. Meanwhile, my waterline has been getting increasingly pinky-yellowy and tired looking over the years (or maybe it is because I got a new pair of glasses or maybe I'm just obsessing...), but either way I was really looking forward to this one with the hope that a more peachy liner would brighten me up and look just a bit more flesh toned than my eye whites, to make them look more clear too.
Unfortunately, I just couldn't get a smooth coverage of the pigment on the waterline and it nearly wiped right off. So, because it doesn't last I'll keep it in my purse and stick to only using it for a pick-me up, if my make-up has faded otherwise, just on the inner and outer corners, and just tight up *under* the lower lashes more like a quick and easy, targeted concealer when the long day is starting to set in and the darkness is starting to peek out again. A touch under the brow-line as a highlight and smudge is a nice way to "open" the eyes up near the end of the day too.
