It's taken a while for us to come around to the idea of putting oil directly onto our skin, but now that we have, we don't know how we ever lived without it. A blend of six different essential oils, including sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut, and macadamia, this multipurpose oil hydrates skin and gives it a velvety sheen. In addition to the natural reparative plant oils, the formula also includes a good dose of healing vitamin E. It's versatile too—use it on your body, face, and hair.
I buy this every year. I love how it feels, smells & how hydrating it is. People compliment me on my "fragrance" when wearing it, though you really have to have it all over to make the scent noticeable.5
I bought this because I really like the scent. But for some reason it doesn't seem to absorb. The oil just sits there and kind of rubs off. I don't feel like I got any moisture benefit from it. Aside from that it smells beautiful and French and the bottle is lovely.3
I would not have thought about trying a "dry oil" ... but a sample convinced me and I purchased the full size. This is a unique product that goes on silky smooth and is not oily ... especially good during the winter, but I find I'm still using it in the summer. And ... it smells just great!5
I love the beachy scent of this oil, and it works great for face and hair! Any other oil I've ever tried on my fine hair has made it limp and greasy, but a few drops of this worked through the ends is perfect! It also absorbs rapidly into the face5
As a new subscriber, I am THRILLED to see this in Birchbox's For Sale department. When I lived in Paris, this was what we used for everything. I swear by it in my hair to calm frizzies and fix dead ends. I use it as the most delicious-smelling non-greasy moisturizer for legs, arms, decolletage, etc. It's fantastic on the face to help maintain non-greasy moisture. I was down to my last quarter-bottle, so I'll be ordering this PRONTO and I'll stop hoarding the little bit I have left!5
I have used this product from cuticle , hair, face hands.
Just about any thing You need an oil for . It also lasts a long time.It especially great cordial.
I have been using Huile Prodigieuse for about 6 months and cannot say enough good things about it. I use it every night after washing my face as a moisturizer and it leaves me glowing in a good (not greasy) way. The next morning my skin feels so soft. I use the lotion version as my day cream and that is great too.
I also use this dry oil on my hair when I have flyaways and on my legs after I shave - it works great for both.
The scent is lovely and long lasting. I keep a tiny travel size of this in my makeup bag and use it on my pulse points as perfume when I've forgotten to apply some before leaving the house.
I love this because I love facial oil because your face like never seems to dry out. I was using a rosehip seed oil, which I LOVE, but got a bad brand and was too thick...so I tried this because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I use it at night because it is so light. I wish it had rosehip seed oil in it, but I still really like it. I had birchbox points, which is why I bought it. Prob won't repurchase since I like rosehip oil a little better though4
This is a great dry oil, and the scent is sweet but subtle, once absorbed. Though I do prefer the version that comes with a spray nozzle, which allows for a more even application...5
I saw this product on list after list of miracle beauty products from French pharmacies, so couldn't resist. Even Goop. To begin - the smell, the glorious smell! It's the only fragrance I'll hear of for now. Alack, since that's not it's actual purpose, I use a few drops in my normal moisturizer/sunscreen every morning for unbelievably soft skin.5
