Naturally flushed, rosy cheeks are a great way to look fresh and healthy. Streaky, glaring cheeks are a great way to look clownish. Avoid the latter with theBalm® cosmetics’ InStain® Long-Wearing Powder Staining Blush. The buildable formula comes in a range of skin-flattering, natural-looking hues and stands up to heat and humidity.
I have tried many pink blushes and had never really found one that met my expectations. I ordered this blush and again was completely satisfied with my order. Most of all I'm satisfied with the amount of color it adds to my face. You don't need much and can be applied with your fingertips or a blush brush. As long as Birchbox sells it I will be buying.5
I was skeptical, but this product is amazing! Long-wearing, blends beautiful, gorgeous coloring - I am ordering more shades! This is my favorite blush formula that I own. You need this blush in your life!5
The package is SO cute, but the BLUSH. I have very light skin, and I have avoided blush for my entire life because I don't really like the way it looks. I only got interested because I used a sample in a different color that was actually beautiful on me. I bought the lightest pink, Argyle. I was thrilled to find that even using what I thought was a heavy hand gave me the most natural, long-lasting blush. It looks like me, only better.5
I received this sample over a year ago and am STILL using it! It is just the right amount of color for that rosy look and is long lasting!!!5
They aren't lying when they say "long lasting!" This stuff last all throughout my day. Its easy to apply, and if you do apply too much its easy to fix. Not too cakey, and the swiss dot shade is perfect for any skin tone. If you're thinking of buying, DO IT! You wont be disappointed.5
theBalm line has drawn me in with so many personal favorites. InStain staining blush is a great product overall. It goes on smooth and lasts an entire day. The product also will get you several uses. The blush is quite pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. I first discovered this as a sample in my Birchbox and ended up buying the full size before my sample was even half used. My favorite color is the Swiss Dot. It is a great fall color that blends perfectly with my bronzer. It is a darker blush so I would recommend this for medium-dark skin tones and works well as a fall blush. This will be a staple that remains in my makeup collection.5
My skin: fair/light, neutral undertones.
I went back and forth for a long time trying to decide which color to go with. Toile ended up being great. Not too cool or too warm. I only needed a tiny bit--this is very pigmented.
The Balm is my new favorite. I love this blush. It's natural looking, easy to put on, and I cannot rave enough about their products!!!5
Oh I love this little blush so much. The color is just lovely and the size is small enough to just throw in your purse for the day. The top flap is possibly magnetized so it stays closed and keeps the color powder from escaping and staining.5
I ordered the balm's Instain in Pinstripe recently, and I have to say that this is my best purchase in a long while. You see, my skin tends to soak up blush/cheek color. I don't know if that makes sense, but powder blushes look great for the first two hours of the work day. However, by the third hour, my cheel color starts fading. I've tried other cheek stains and they typically only give an extra two hours of blush life. But when I got a hold of this, the Instain actually kept me blushing and gave me a flirty flush for the entire work day! A bonus is the ease of applying this. I'm so used to powder blushes that this powder stain was a breeze to apply. Unlike the waxy or liquidy cheek stains that sometimes appear streaky on me, the powder form of Instain was def a bonus! I have the Pinstripe color, a plum-y color that compliments my skin tone, tanned or not. And it will work well as we transition to fall. Oh one more thing, I also use it as a lip stain...and it gives a beautiful color. I start with a lip balm first and, then with my finger, dab into the color and apply on my lips. The color stays longer than regular lpstick!5
