While we’re sometimes on the fence about consuming grapefruit (that bitter aftertaste!), we have unequivocally embraced it in our skincare routines. Yes To™’s Grapefruit line is designed to even out skin tone, resulting in a brighter, clearer, more luminous complexion. The Daily Facial Scrub gently exfoliates away dead skin cells, leaving skin soft, silky-smooth, and moisturized.
This facial scrub does a good job cleansing your face. It smells nice, the grapefruit smell wakes you up. It was hard to tell given the size of samples how well it worked long-term on dark spots but as far as a normal facial scrub goes, it's a keeper.4
This stuff is pretty good, and I do like it, and recommend it to people because it does leave your face feeling clean and good, but I prefer a different brand of grapefruit face wash for myself.1
I am a grapefruit fanatic! Its hard to find a GOOD grapefruit fragrance that's the perfect blend of clean, tangy citrus and bitter sweetnes. This Face scrub NAILED it! I was hesitant to try the scrub because in the past, scrubs I've used haev torn up my face and ravaged my skin. I was plesantly suprised, with this tho- the scrub's grains are about the size of baking soda! They effectively scrub off dead skin without making you feel like your face has been sandblasted. My sample pack was actually almost empty- I only got about 20 drops of the scrub, versus the serum's package which was more than enough.
The serum was totally new to me; I don't use a serum at all in my routine. I have combination skin that breaks out fairly easily. My first impression of the serum was 'sticky'. Once I used the facial scrub, tho, my skin sucked the serum right up and my face felt great!! It also smells really good. Much less intense than the scrub; very delicate almost like grapefruit water or something. LOVE it! The only reason I'm not buying it right now is A) my sample was very generous and I'm going to continue trying it out, and B) its $20, which is kind of out of my budget with the $9 scrub.
Both of these products work very well! Smell amazing! Also leave your skin feeling soft and clean. Not too harsh which is great!5
I have very dry yet acne filled face and i prefer to use grapefruit scrubs, since i have started using this particular scrub i have had a huge significant difference. Now i break out less, makeup still clogs my pores, but my dry skin has improved way more. i will for sure share this product with all my friends and family5
I have seen this product around at local markets, but had never tried it. After getting it in my box, I would definitely consider buying it. It was a light scrub, gentle exfoliant, and my skin felt so soft after! Nice smell too.5
Both were a very nice scrub. It leaves my skin feeling amazing!!!!!!!5
I love this scrub. I have sensitive skin and find a lot of scrubs to be too harsh. This scrub is very gentle, but my face still feels clean and smooth after using it.5
The scrub was pretty nice - it was odd to use such a fine-grained exfoliant after my many years with St Ives - but the smell was not fun. Grapefruit is not a fail safe smell, beware! It was more than a little upsetting.
Anyway, the scrub left my skin feeling pretty clean and soft. I would probably buy it if I didn't mind the smell.
The serum (not sure why I'm reviewing two different products here, but oh well!) was not great. I haven't really used serums before, so maybe it's my inexperience talking, but I disliked the way it made my skin feel after applying. It felt tight and dry, as if I had just washed it with a bar of soap and avoided the moisturizer. It was not a great feeling.
The facial scrub smells AMAZING! And it is not too abrasive. Definitely a great scrub for everyday use. The serum does not smell as great as the scrub and it is very sticky. It also leaves a weird residue. I would not repurchase the serum, but the scrub is great.5
