The words “sugar free” usually serve as a warning that we’ll be ingesting some sort of synthetic sweetener like aspartame. Not so with Glee Gum, which uses xylitol instead of other artificial sugar substitutes. This natural substance is made from American birch and beech trees. Not only does xylitol have a superior taste, but it can also help improve dental health and clear nasal passages.
The gum was OK while it lasted... The flavor was good, but the pieces were very small so it took a couple of them to equal the size of any other brand.3
I was not a big fan of this gum. The flavor is decent, but it doesn't last long at all. The texture is off-putting to me, and some of it stuck in my teeth. The pieces were very small as well.2
I had been looking for a gum with xylitol for quite some time. I was glad when I found this! Xylitol is great for fighting dental carries. This is good stuff.5
I thought this was fresh, crisp and minty. I don't chew gum for super long periods of time so I am not sure how long the flavor lasted, but I liked it!4
My mom purchased this from Hyvee for me and it was great! Loved the long lasting flavor too! I have purchased it on my own since then since it was so good.5
I'm sure this is due to the lack of chemicals, but I thought this gum had such an odd taste right from the beginning. It lost it's flavor really quickly and the texture went downhill pretty fast. Wouldn't buy this.1
I loved the retro packaging, but I buy gum for what's inside. The initial flavor is not bad, but, as other reviewers have noted, it doesn't last very long. Once the flavor is gone, there is not much to recommend the gum, particularly because the texture is so firm and bouncy. Save your pennies.2
Tried it. Better than Chiclets, it doesn't have a bad after taste or stick to your teeth, but lost it's flavor very quickly and left me unsatisfied. I usually akin Chiclet's to helping pull out a loose tooth.1
Seriously the worst gum. Loses the flavor in about 2 minutes and feels like gross rubber in your mouth. Ew.2
I was on the go and in dire need of a freshened smile... This was the only thing I could find in my purse so I gave it a whirl. The taste was bleh and in a bind, it certainly worked, but I much wished for something else.2
