Whether you owe your golden locks to genetics or your hair stylist, this French brand’s targeted hair rinse is the answer to your prayers. Designed to bring out blonde highlights and prevent your color from turning brassy, it gets rid of product residue and oily debris without stripping your locks (dyed or otherwise). The secret to this hydrating treatment is chamomile—it boosts color and perks up tired strands.
This has a flowery smell with a slight chemical sharpness, I assumed it would be thick substance but was surprised to find it to be liquidy.
challenging to distribute in my hair, made it shiny though.
After purchasing this I am still not really sure what this product is. I thought it was a shampoo, but when it arrived it is liquid. It does not lather at all and you can't really squirt it into you hand in the shower because it is pure liquid, so it just kind of drips out before you can reach your hair. Very unsatisfied. I would not recommend.1
This rinse smells awesome and DEFINITELY keeps blonde hair in shape. I now use the whole line!!5
I have to say that if yes looking for immediately blonder hair, this is t going to work out for you. But it certainly makes my long, curly, blonde hair shinier and silkier, and there's zero buildup (which is huge, because my hair is so fine). I sprinkle it directly on my hair in the shower - the bottle's top is perfect for splashing - starting with the crown of my head, having squeezed most of the water out of my hair. Then I wait a minute and rinse in the coldest water I can stand.
It does indeed smell of vinegar for a bit, but I actually kind of like that - as another reviewer said, it's not a true vinegar scent; it's more herbal and bracing. Even though my hair is pretty porous, it dissipates after a couple of hours. Totally worth it for the shine.
I really liked the chamomilev klorane shampoo so thought this would be a great product. It's not easy to use and doesn't seem to bring out blond highlights2
Generally when you are looking for a clarifying product, you are looking for one to help remove the buildup of shampoo and hair products. This product definitely definitely does not do that. It is a vinegar-esq rinse that you put on after you have shampooed and conditioned. It has a fucky smell when you put it on but I didn't really notice it as I styled and thoughout my day. I've given it several goes and I did notice that my hair was a little more blonde looking, however it was not the clarifying product that i was looking for.3
I didn't find anything special about this product. It is hard to apply since it is such a thin liquid, so I just ended up squirting it directly onto my hair. I really didn't notice it making any difference though.1
When I and my two towheaded sisters were still all under the age of 5, we lay on the kitchen counter with our locks draped into the sink while our mom washed and rinsed. The treatment was ended with a generous dose of vinegar and a shocking splash of cold water. Looking back at photos, we had amazingly shiny hair, but what doesn't show is that we also smelled like salad dressing. This Klorane product gives the same glossy effect, and though the odor is quite a bit less offensive than straight vinegar, I've still found myself in a pickle trying to mask it.4
this is one of those products its really hard to tell if its actually working. I feel like it is...I've been using it for over a month now, using it once to twice a week post shampoo and my highlights look really great still. I plan to keep using it to see longterm results, but I think this is really helping keep brassiness at bay.4
I could not really tell any difference in my hair after I used this product. It is hard to apply, especially when trying to apply it in the shower. I wasn't crazy about the smell either. It smells like vinegar...
