As a last-minute defense against frizz, we've been known to sport a topknot and be done with it, but sometimes we just want to let our hair down. Luckily, this gentle shampoo is specially formulated to tame frizzed-out and tangle-prone hair. Enriched with olive oil and rice protein, it leaves our hair stronger, softer, and silky-smooth—for a style that's lightyears more manageable.
This shampoo doesn't feel or smell luxurious at all. The product was very thin and the scent was disappointing. This product could easily be replaced by something found at a summer craft faire. The packaging was also very bland...like, did you try?2
This shampoo was fine, but $27 is expensive for shampoo that isn't amazing. I also generally avoid sulfates in shampoo and use shampoo for curly hair. I did like the smell, though.3
Unfortunately, this product has sodium laureth sulfate, which completely strips my hair in the long run. During the first few uses it's amazing, but the long-term effects end up requiring serious repair. Might not be the case for everyone, though. I do think it's generally gentle, and like I said, first few washes: amazing.3
I was debating on purchasing this exact shampoo a few weeks back, but decided on a brand that I've tried before. Lo and behold, Birchbox sends me a sample to show me the error of my ways. I absolutely loved this shampoo. It smells amazing, lathers great, and left my hair feeling soft and clean. I should have trusted my instincts and bought this instead of my tried and true brand.5
I like this Shampoo. It smelled really good. I might buy it.3
I don't know how I feel about this shampoo. I have thick long hair and I need to use a lot of the product just to cover my head. It smells very fresh and cleans my hair well, but if I bought it, it would be gone so quickly because I have to use so much for each wash.3
I have fine, stick-straight hair, so I can't attest to how well this tames frizzy hair, but even though it wasn't for my hair type, I really liked it. The smell in particular, I just loved... it smells so fresh and just slighty fruity, not overly sweet or perfumed.5
This shampoo (and product line) is fantastic. I washed my hair right before the weather/ humidity began to peak (literally) the next day. I spent the whole day in the sun and my hair still feels great! It's also not your traditional scent for hair products, which is refreshing and wonderful touch for summers icky temps.5
I used this in place of my regular shampoo along with my regular conditioner so I could try to evaluate if it performed any differently on its own.
I have straight, thick hair that tends to be oily, and I felt that it was a bit flatter than normal after using this shampoo.
The scent is different and probably appealing to a lot of people, but I've come to realize there's something about the scent of fig that doesn't appeal to me.
Overall, not a good fit for me, but sounds like it's a great product for others.
Wow! Really a nice sized sample! Good product with a great scent. I will most likely order this prior to winter as I think it is a bit "heavy" for a summer shampoo.5
