To (very loosely) paraphrase Clueless’s lead heroine Cher Horowitz, “Trying to find a lightweight, nongreasy sunscreen is like trying to find meaning in a Pauly Shore movie.” In other words, nearly impossible. That is, until we discovered this mineral-rich formula from chic sun protection brand CoTZ. The lightweight formula is silky smooth to the touch, blends in quickly, and leaves behind a sheer matte finish. Perfect for layering under foundation or BB cream, the multitasking formula also protects your skin from those unappealing sun-accelerated fine lines and wrinkles.
HATED THIS. never again. not of me, and not my type of item to use. I hope i don't get something in my box like this again......
I used this product today, having received it in a Birchbox. I applied and reapplied during my time out in the sun. I did not apply very well, dry and not creamy, but that was okay. What was not okay, is that my face is burnt to a crisp.
I tend to sweat a lot around my forehead and nose and this stuff made it terribly worse I felt like an oil slick.
My face and neck broke out in a rash after using this!
It was smooth and creamy, but wasnt crazy about the color. maybe its good for a beach day. I wouldnt buy it it was oily for my skin type.
When I first put this on my face, I liked the matte finish. However, then I put my BB cream on top of this product, it made my face feel like I had makeup on. My BB cream stayed on top of it and you could see the places where I applied both products. I rather use my BB cream, so this product didn't work for me.
While this product does blend, it does not blend to the color of your skin. When I wore this I was noticeable MUCH lighter. It wasn't a cute look. It looked like I didn't know how to do my makeup. Even with makeup over it, it still looked pretty terrible. This isn't for anyone with tan skin or darker.
So I think this is just a sunscreen for your face but I'm not quite sure why it would be necessary if I already use a product with spf in it. Overall it does not seem to have any extra benefit for me at least
I was really excited about this product. It went on really smooth and creamy. The color was good. The drawback was the powdery residue it left behind.
This product went on my face very dry and cake like. It was hard to spread around and looked really bad. A few hours after applying it plus my regular makeup I noticed it had settled into the lines on my face and just looked horrible.
