To (very loosely) paraphrase Clueless's lead heroine Cher Horowitz, "Trying to find a lightweight, nongreasy sunscreen is like trying to find meaning in a Pauly Shore movie." In other words, nearly impossible. That is, until we discovered this mineral-rich formula from CoTZ. Silky-smooth to the touch, the formula blends in quickly and leaves behind a sheer matte finish. It's free of oil, harsh chemicals, and fragrances, and won't upset sensitive skin. Best for medium skin tones, the complexion-matching formula blends in seamlessly and masks minor flaws.
Quite honestly, I'm unsure of the effectiveness of this sunscreen. I can't get beyond the appearance of make-up while applying. May be great, but I prefer non-skintone sunscreen.3
I've been looking for a good tinted sunblock for a while, and this really fits the bill. goes on completely matte which i love. Anything above SPF40 is useless anyway, especially on the face. The only thing i wish was that i had more of it in the sample! 2 days outside and it was pretty much gone!4
A nice suncreen. SPF 40 is fairly powerful; a good protection from harmful rays. Seems to stay on well through physical activity, and not a greasy formula. A little pricey, though.4
Seems to work just fine, and isn't as greasy as some other sunscreens, but I am not into tinted or color moisturizers. I am not their target market.3
This product has a very pleasant scent and provides great protection in the sun. I used this product this past weekend while out in the sun for 8 hours and it held up great the whole time.3
I cannot get over that strong sunscreen scent of certain products, and this one just bugs me. It's great to moisturize and protect your skin, but this product is just not for me.3
Goes on smooth and didn't make my face break out, which is a major plus for sun block.4
I liked the texture and non-greasy formula. I just wish it came in an untainted version. I don't need makeup; I just want an effective sunscreen.2
This is a great product for sun protection, and has the added bonus of being a tinted moisturizer. Perfect for using on your face to avoid that greasy, smelly sunscreen effect.5
It's not this brand's fault that I have pale, Irish skin. That being said, this "Natural Skin Tone" sunscreen was so far from my natural tone that it was unusable for me. When I first saw the tint to the sunscreen, I honestly thought I had grabbed a sample from my wife's Birchbox. I tried unsuccessfully to blend this product into my skin, only to look like I was wearing foundation make-up. And the fragrance left a lot to be desired. Even if the cream had blended into my skin, it would have been obvious to anyone that I was wearing sunscreen (or some other product) by the heavily medicated smell.3
