Sticky

It's a little too sticky for my taste. It would work well for shorter hairstyles.

Good Product.

I have straight hair, short on side (#4) and long on top (4in+). This Clay Pomade is a great product. One of the best I've used so far. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that will leave your hair looking natural.

Best product for coarse hair
Purchased

I have extremely thick, coarse hair and this is one of the only products to tame it all day long. They aren't kidding when they say you need a serious shampoo to get it out, though!

Perfect Product for straight hair.

I always have problems getting a product for my hair that works because my hair is so straight. This product works better than any gel, paste, or glue that I've used in the past. It makes my hair look natural but styled. The only thing I typically have to use in combination with it is a little bit of hairspray to catch the stray hairs that it has a problem holding down.

Not Quite a Pomade. Not quite a wax

It's not that this is a bad pomade, I just think for the price it should be a little bit more stiff or have a little less shine. It's like the one B of C product I haven't been 110% satisfied with. A little more hold would make this a great pomade.

Overly sticky

Clay is a good word for it. This product is overly sticky and difficult to work with. If you like a thick hold, however, you might like it?

Will be replacing tigi bedhead
Purchased

Like I said I was an avid user of tigi molding putty baxter clay pomade will now be replacing it. I love the texture not gooey or too tacky at all, just right.

great hold and scent
Purchased

This product is fantastic. It provides a medium firm hold without looking stiff and without leaving hair greasy. Reactivate it the next day without washing hair, just comb through.

Solid product, better if cocktailed with others.
Purchased

The scent is very earthy (expectedly due to clay), but clean and not overpowering.

You'll have to take a pinch and rub your hands together until the product no longer resembles a paste and then style your hair.

Great for my curly hair that's short on the sides and ~3.5 inches on top.

I mix it with Hanz de Fuko Hybridized Wax to combine scents and add a low shine.
