If you seek industrial-strength hold without the look of a Ken doll, consider this highly competent pomade. A combination of clay and beeswax deliver all-day hold and a matte finish, while fennel, lemon peel, and sage oils give it a fresh, herby scent. The gritty balm will never leave neither oily sheen nor a single strand out of place.
This stuff is horrible I have no idea how anyone can use this. I have medium length hair with a under cut and I got some or of the container rubbed it with both hands. It wouldn't break down at all I had huge clumps of this stuck in my hair so it wouldn't work into my hair. I had to was it out and use something else. This is the worst hair product I have ever used.1
Clay is right. Can hardly get it out of the jar. When trying to apply it it seems like I'm pulling out my hair. Please rethink this item. It should be called "Clay Brick"1
Received this product as a result of an error or Birchbox's behalf. I have long wavy hair that is past my shoulders so this product didn't do anything for my hair other than make it sticky and difficult to brush. Disappointing really because I am a fan of their products1
I did not enjoy this product. Like rubbing wet beach sand in your hair.1
I have thick short hair. This product didn't do anything to it. Hair feels sticky after using it.1
It wouldn't wash out of my hair. It made my hair stick up in a funny way, like a weird cowlick. I didn't care for the consistency. I prefer water-soluble pomades.1
This went right in the trash. It was like trying to spread parched clay in my hair. It does not spread around AT ALL. Besides that, it wouldn't wash off my hands with soap and water. So it will probably be in my hair for the next couple days. I'm not a fan of Baxter products and this would be a perfect reason why.1
This pomade is so thick that I had a hard time getting it out of the tiny sample sized jar. It was pretty much useless in my thick hair, felt a bit like putting oily glue on my scalp. Also it smells like weird chemicals.1
Did not hold very well and it just seemed to clump up in nasty little bits. Not to mention it took me a few showers to get the stuff out of my hair.1
My hair is thin so this product was too much for my hair.1
