If you can’t pop into Baxter’s Los Angeles barbershop—a throwback with subway tile and bricks walls, vintage porcelain chairs, and hot towel treatments given by master barbers—this shave cream is the next best thing. We recommend starting with shave oil, then applying the shaving formula with a brush. and finishing with aftershave.
I like the smell of this cream but when I shave I like a shaving cream that is a bit thicker. Was ok though3
My husband didn't love this, but he liked it.... It didn't lather in the way he prefers. We both did like the fragrance, even if it was a bit unusual...4
This one was a bit of a challenge for me. I tried foaming it in my hands, and with my shaving brush. I got a little bit better lather with my brush, but it was hard to determine exactly how much to use. When I shaved with it, the cream really gummed up my razor, and so it was not as effective as the glycerine shaving soap I usually use.4
This product really makes my skin feel amazing after a shave and I have sensitive skin4
I like the smell of this cream but when I shave I prefer a cream that is thicker and offers more protection.3
I wasn't fond of the formula but I do agree that it is moisturizing for my face.3
Product had an unusual smell and I was not effective. I couldn't tell if it made any difference in my shave. Unimpressed2
Sample size of 1 oz should be good for a shave cream but you need lots of this, I think, for shaving. Tough to tell because it didn't seem to lather and is transparent. Strange smell I couldn't put my finger on.2
The product provided a very close have and really had an excellent texture. importantly I felt my skin refreshed and the scent was appealing4
This is a solid shave cream. Can't go wrong with it. It's a good one.4
