Bid adieu to the days of lugging around greasy bottles of lotion. This portable sunscreen stick is perfectly purse-friendly, and it’s ideal for those long days lying on the beach. The solid format lets you reach all those easy-to-forget places like the backs of your ears, backs of your knees, and tops of your feet. It’s made with zinc oxide to give you broad spectrum protection, plus organic ingredients to hydrate and nourish skin.
I liked the size and shape of this product. It was easy to stow and carry in my handbag. Sprays are faster and easier to use however.3
i plan on taking my sample of this sunscreen to all the outdoor summer festivals i will be going to this year. this stick form make it really easy to re-apply to the tops of the ears and nose - the places you can really burn if you aren't watching!3
I love sunscreen sticks generally because I'm extremely sensitive to the sun and I love being able to keep a stick in my purse at all times without worrying about it spilling. Unfortunately, I just don't love this one. It didn't go on smoothly and felt like it was pulling my skin. Once it was on, it worked fine. It's nice that it is natural, but I think it could use some fine tuning. I probably won't be purchasing.3
Nice concept, and I'll still keep the sample in my purse for on-the-go sunscreen, but the application type makes it really difficult to apply. It sticks to the skin and just isn't easy. I prefer creams/lotions.3
It's convenient that its small enough to go in any of my purses but since it's a stick it's kind of hard to apply, it's not soft and easy to apply like a lotion, its a stick and hard and you have to take a little more time applying it.3
I received the same of this product in my recent birchbox. I love the packaging, the deodorant-like set up for the sunscreen is really cool. I also carry this around in my bag for days I sit outside during lunch and can feel the burn. My biggest complaint is it's very thick, and waxy like as mentioned by others. When I first tried it on my face it didn't feel like it was doing anything, you really have to rub it all over, it's kind of a hassle, but hey mini sunscreen is pretty vital to carry around regardless.3
This was a perfect size for my carryon when I recently went to Denver. I didn't find the product hard to use like others, I simply blended in my swipes following application (as I would with any other sunscreen.)
Didn't notice a smell.
I live at the beach, face sunscreen is very important to me. But I feel like there are much better brands of sunscreen that don't break your face out, and come in small packaging that aren't as sticky or hard to apply. I used this once...it clumped up on my face. I rather stick to clinique or somethign else for face sunscreen.3
I thought this would be a really convenient way to keep sunscreen on hand without worrying about a bottle leaking all over my purse, but this product was kind of disappointing. The stick is very hard and needs to be rubbed pretty firmly onto the skin in order to get it to apply. Once on, it has a sticky, waxy feeling that doesn't seem to go away. The small size of the stick means that getting everything covered also takes awhile. It does seem pretty water- and sweat-proof - I put it on to go for a run and my skin still felt really waxy after I got done. Took a fair bit of scrubbing in the shower to get it all off! So...there's that, at least.3
I like that this product is a stick because it's so easy to carry around in my purse. But because it's a stick, you have to glide it over every surface of your skin and it doesn't smoothly go on like a lotion or gel or spray. It's dryer than that. So I find that to be cumbersome.3
