Bid adieu to the days of lugging around greasy bottles of lotion. This portable sunscreen stick is perfectly purse-friendly, and it’s ideal for those long days lying on the beach. The solid format lets you reach all those easy-to-forget places like the backs of your ears, backs of your knees, and tops of your feet. It’s made with zinc oxide to give you broad spectrum protection, plus organic ingredients to hydrate and nourish skin.
I received the same of this product in my recent birchbox. I love the packaging, the deodorant-like set up for the sunscreen is really cool. I also carry this around in my bag for days I sit outside during lunch and can feel the burn. My biggest complaint is it's very thick, and waxy like as mentioned by others. When I first tried it on my face it didn't feel like it was doing anything, you really have to rub it all over, it's kind of a hassle, but hey mini sunscreen is pretty vital to carry around regardless.
3I had read about sunscreen sticks and was very excited to try this product. It's a very effective sunscreen, goes on smooth and has a light feeling on the skin. I love that it doesn't leave a white residue and is made from organic ingredients. It is perfect to use on my skin as well as my children. It is much cleaner than the lotions and safer than the spray on. The stick is also nice because it can be easily tossed in a purse or diaper bag without worrying about it making a mess.
5As a fair skinned girl, I like zinc sunscreens better than the lotions. This was kind of hard to apply, but they usually are. I think it is a pretty standard zinc sunscreen and most of the reviewers just aren't familiar with it. But it works great and stays on longer than other sunscreens- I used it in sunny New Orleans this weekend and came out burn free (which is all I ask for in a sunscreen!). I also didnt notice any weird smell that some others seemed to.
