Deborah Lippmann’s got the beat with her Staccato Collection, a group of ice cream-inspired, glitter-flecked nail polish shades. Rockin’ Robin, a summery blue-green polish speckled with black glitter, will rock your fingertips all day long—and have you craving a dish of mint chip. Two scoops, please!
I love this color. It really is reminiscent of mint chocolate chip ice cream. So fun for the summertime! I applied basecoat, then two coats of color, and a fast-dry topcoat and I was good to go without any chipping for 5 days! As with any glitter polish, it took some patience and some extra acetone remover to remove all traces of it.5
The color is absolutely amazing... lots of compliments. However, it's practically impossible to get off and I ended up with little black dots all over my hands that refused to come off! Resorted to putting it on my toes so I can still enjoy the color, but don't get all spotty because I'm leaving it there until it grows out and off! LOL3
I'm in love with this color. It's suprisingly one of those all season colors that also happens to be trendy. It looks good on the first coat, and starts to look amazing and more textured on the second coat because you get those dark blue dots on top, and lighter ones on bottom. I can't speak to the staying power since I'm using a base and top coat, but I can say that I like this brand so far.5
So cute. I've gotten so many compliments. Wears like iron and my friends say my nails look like easter eggs. :)5
I wasn't as fond of this in person as I was when I saw pictures of it on other people's nails. It does look cool though, don't get to wrong. One annoying con is that I found it very difficult to remove. The glitter clings to your nails for dear life.3
When I saw promotion for Deborah Lippmann's new line of ice-cream inspired nail polishes, I was stoked! Great nail polish trend. However, the polish itself was really chunky and the effect wasn't as cool as I thought it'd be on my nail.3
