When incorporating bold hues and new trends into our wardrobe seems too daunting (and costly), we turn to Deborah Lippmann’s latest nail polish creations. Part of the celeb manicurist’s Spring 2013 collection, this glittery aqua shade is right on point. Plus, the chic lacquer is free of toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP.
I went by reviews on this purchase thinking I would love it but I was sadly disappointed. It's not smooth like I prefer my polish to be. It honestly reminds me of mixing sand with glue and then painting my nails. I used a base coat and top coat also by Deborah Lippmann... it did nothing to help the polish. Keeping it on for a few days in hopes it will grow on me since it is pricey. Fingers crossed!2
Like the color and the sparkle just not a fan of the ruff texture of the polish. Don't get if you think you will have a prob with a sandpaper like texture the polish leaves.3
This is such a pretty color. The color stays on all week without peeling/chipping. I am looking forward to trying some of the other colors from this brand.4
This polish is absolutely beautiful but I was not expecting it to be a texturized finish. When dry it has a texture that is comparable to the liquid sand polishes by OPI (I think that's what they're called...). I wasn't too keen on that. A top coat does not smooth out the surface either. Other than the texture of the finish this polish is still very pretty and it lasts fairly long. I didn't have chipping for 4-5 days which is pretty amazing since I am pretty hard on my nails. It also is kind of difficult to remove. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes matte and textured nail polish. If you don't like that kind of finish I would probably pass on this one.4
This color is really nice because it incorporates shimmer and glitter, providing lots of textures. The color quality is great too.4
I love all of Deborah Lippmann's nail lacquer for the colors and because it's formaldehyde free. The color is actually a little lighter than the photo, I wanted something deeper. I still love the product but not the one I was looking for, it's a little to light for me.4
I had to splurge and get this nail polish when I saw it! It's a gorgeous color, and I was super excited when it came in with my order yesterday. As my review title says, it's expensive, but I thought I'd treat myself to something pretty. I'm happy with it!4
I love love love bright nail polish, to me dull nails are boring. This one lasts a long time and goes on great without having to apply multiple coats!5
I painted this luscious color on my fingernails and it lasted much longer than traditional polish and sparkled aquamarine, just loved it!!!5
This is one of those nail polishes that just makes me happy. The color is even prettier in person than it is in the picture. The glitter can be a pain to remove so I do recommend wearing one of those glitter proof base coats to make the removal process a little easier.5
