Great idea--wonderful to use when you're going on long trips and don't want to bother with bringing too many clothes/doing laundry. Genius! Just lather up your articles rinse, repeat and then hang to dry. Lovely scent!2
Hate the smell. I just don't have many stains that don't come out in the washer so I don't see myself using this in the future. Smells like powdery soap.2
This is an expensive bar of soap. It works fine and is useful on stains and while traveling but I don't think it is worth the cost.3
I bought this to put in my bag for vacation. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it had more of a manly smell but it worked great for having to wash out you bathing suit after the beach.3
I tested my sample out with a few of my clothes that had some stains on them.
The bar did an OK job, but for my money's worth, I've had more success with either hydrogen peroxide (depending on the fabric), or a combination of dish soap and baking soda (surprisingly effective, especially with pit stains).
It's not that the bar doesn't work, it's that there's probably stuff in your house that you already have and will do an equal or better job.
It works well for small stains but has trouble getting the ring on the collar of my Husbands shirts out.3
I was surprised that this bar of soap was so small for the $6 price tag which is the only reason I'm not giving it higher marks. I bought it for hand washing my bras in the shower ( a tip I read on a blog) and trying to work out some of the ink that wears of from clothing and deodorant stains every day use can leave near the armpits. This little bar is great for that. I wish it came in a larger size.3
Was not planning on using. Laundry not my thing. Bar has a strong scent. Dropped crawfish on shirt. Used it. Got stain out. Saved my shirt.3
I keep this in my bag as i commute to NYC from Jersey everyday. I have not had a chance to use it yet but when i need it, i will be ready.3
When I travel light and know I won't be near a clothes washer for a week or more, I wanna clean my clothes fast so I keep fresh and don't waste time. In the past I'd bring a small bottle of woolite. Conceptually this bar is a great alternative to liquid. So far it's hard to tell if this is works any better than a regular bar of soap, since I haven't tried it on stains. But it seems gentler than regular soap, which is good for basic cleaning. It would also be nice if it came in a re-sealable container to accommodate multiple uses. Not sure if I'd buy it without a true test run in the field. Next stop, India...3
