LOVE THIS!! I used the bar on coffee, chocolate, blood, and yes, feces. It worked on EVERYTHING!!! I will definately be buying this product!!! LOVE the scent, too!5
Favorite orange tee-shirt lived through soy sauce collision due to this awesome bar of stain removing soap. I'm a fan. Easy to use. Plenty of punch in a small bar!5
At first I was a bit peeved at the small size of this laundry bar. However, it lasts and lasts. AND it works great on stains; even set-in stains. Just dampen the stained area with water (or your favorite spray-on stain remover) and rub the stain with the Laundress Bar. Rub and rub until you see the stain fading, then throw in the washer. Viola!5
This really helped get out pesky deodorant smudges from a delicate shirt. And the smell is fresh and clean, not annoyingly fruity or floral. Love it!5
I never knew these laundry bars existed until finding Birchbox. It's small and portable, has a really fresh scent and does a great job of getting things cleaned. Not to mention great to put in my carry-on bag since I don't have to whip it out for security checks! I've been traveling to countries for so many years where they did my laundry by hand, and it never occurred to me that I could've done that myself whenever I wanted to (without having to wait on someone else to finish it) with one of these! I've had more than a few clothing emergencies where I couldn't get them washed right away. Now I know I can pop them in a sink or bin with some water, rub this bar into any spots or smelly areas and voila! Now I can rest a little easier knowing my laundry won't be as much of a hassle while traveling.5
I took this with us to Greece and was able to do some laundering during our travels. It smells great and really works!5
I randomly came across this product and decided to give it a try to see how well it for my other half's collar stains. Until I received this product, very few products really helped reduce/get rid of the stains. Even when I found a product, it really required a lot of elbow grease to get rid of the stain.
I received this product in the mail and was skeptical. So I tried it on a few products, rubbed the product on a few of his shirts and threw it in the wash. I really didn't expect much but when I took it out of the wash, I was surprised that the little effort I put into taking out the stain really made a huge difference!
I highly recommend this product, especially for collar stains.
Great great great for delicates you'd wash in the sink! Not sure about the stain fighting aspects as I havent tried for that but it works great.
Bonus* I dont have to remember to run down and get a cap full of laundry soap when I have delicates to wash :)
When I got this little laundry bar in my monthly box, I tossed it into my travel bag and didn't think about it again. Then a few weeks later, I was on work trip and stuck in a hotel for 11 days with weather changes I had not entirely packed well for.. and the hotel's washing machine was out of order for a week. Really.
I hand-washed a few things in the sink first, and there was no residue, it wasn't hard to rinse the soap out of the clothes, yet it still made the water slightly milky in-use, so I could at least tell that I was using enough of the lather and could tell when the clothes had been rinsed enough.
Two days later, I washed 6 or 7 items in the tubs, and lathered each one up then stirred them all to agitate, then drained, rinsed with the shower while the drain was open, refilled with warm water, stirred again, picking up each piece and dunking it up and down, then drained again, shower-rinse again, filled with cold water, stirred and dunked a few more times, drained, shower-rinsed with cold for like 3 minutes, then I squeezed the excess water from the clothes, rolled each in a clean bath towel to soak up most remaining water, and laid all flat to dry. They were all totally clean! And not stiff once they dried! And they smelled just slightly of the light clean scent of the laundry soap. I love this product! It was a huge help on my trip and I will definitely keep buying it, as I travel often.
I really like this bar. I use it to hand wash my delicates. It leaves everything with a nice subtle smell.5
