As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.’s fat lip pencils, we couldn’t agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo.
I received the Lambchop color, which is definitely bright! I didn't find the product to be glossy, in fact, I ended up putting my own gloss over it once I was done to get the look I was going for - I'd say it was more of a matte color than gloss. It does last long and is hard to get off if you find you may have applied too much, or if you want to tone it down. This is not necessarily a negative aspect - but something to be aware of as you apply it .... go lightly.1
I love the idea of this product. Unfortunately for me, I have strawberry blonde hair and the bubblegum pink I was sent made me look like I had broken into my mother's make up drawer to play. Seemed like a great lip product, but the color did not allow me to fully enjoy it! Love the way you twirl it up though!1
I think the product itself is pretty good, if the color works with your skin tone. I found that the consistency and texture was similar to the finish you would get with your fave lip balm.. you forget its on after you put it on. Its like second skin, very light and airy. Would try a more pale pinkish color and it would prob be a favorite of mine.1
I think the texture and smell of this product is good but the color is way too bright for me. I have medium tan skin, green eyes, and dark blonde hair.1
i felt like nicki minaj when i wore this and wish it was not as bright1
I mean, the product itself seems like it would be great if it were in a color that a normal human would wear. I'm all for bold, bright colors but this one was so intensely neon pink that I couldn't wear it outside my house. BONUS: the long last nature of it was legit, and I couldn't get rid of the neon pink lip without quite a bit elbow grease. TAKE NOTE: the color is crazy.1
Personally, I found the color awful for my skin. Hot Pink does not look good on just anyone. Aside from that, it wore off fast and it felt really waxy on my lips. Would not recommend this to just anyone.
And I find it ridiculous that I had to select a shade to complete this questionaire. Personally, I wouldn't buy any of these colors.
I didn't like the color (hot pink) but the actual product was fine. If I had gotten this in a different color, I might be more satisfied.1
i got the hot pink sample and was excited to try it. i put on a little and it was a BIG color! a little too bright for me. then i tried to wipe it off, and the color stuck around for another few hours. so i guess you can say it's long-lasting! the texture was nice and smooth. if the color wasn't so barbie-ish, i would have liked it better. i don't wear bright lipcolor, so this was a little too daring for me. i thought it just looked off with my skin tone.1
This product went on smoothly, it just wasn't the color for me!1
