As the saying goes, two is better than one. When it comes to LAQA & Co.’s fat lip pencils, we couldn’t agree more. After all, these gloss-delivering pencils require no sharpener and give lips a vibrant sheen. Luckily, the company recently released the pencils in the form of a travel-friendly duo.
The color I received was hideous - something I would not apply to the lips of a pet pig if I owned one. I work in a business environment and this loud color was totally inappropriate.1
When I wore this product, I thought about wearing my hair in a side pony and a lycra leotard for a totally 80's theme. This color was just too crazy and hot pink for me. When applying it, I felt the need to add a gloss over top because it made my lips look kind of chalky. Not sure if I would recommend this product.1
I was excited to get a lip product in the box. However, the lipstick was all stuck in the cap. (Probably melted from the hot Florida sun in the mail.) I still managed to try the color out and WOAH! it was bold alright. I did not like the Hot Pink Color at all... maybe it just doesn't work for my skin tone. It did seem to stay on very well - I couldn't get it off. So, I think in a different color it would be a nice product to have for a long lasting lip color. Just be careful ordering it during hot months!1
I really like this product - everything about it is great except the color. It seems like a great brand and a high quality lip stick. I love supporting local brands too. I ultimately can't pull off the hot pink but I am interested in trying the product in other colors. except the color.1
The color that was shipped to me was way to bright for my skin tone. However the pencil was long lasting and smooth to apply.1
Upon seeing the hot pink color, I didn't want this anywhere near my lips. However, looks can be deceiving, so I drew a little line. Still looked disgusting--so opaque and thick. Not only is it a horrific shade that would only be acceptable at a trashy 80's theme party, it is chalky and gross-feeling.1
I think that this colour was a bit too bright for my taste- it's a tiny bit difficult to match with regular clothing and really sticks out- which for some, might be perfect! I thought that the smooth application was lovely, but did notice that flecks began to peel off as the day went on. Overall, a great product- just not the best for me.1
The color I received was so NOT for me, but it looked great on my cousin so I passed it along to her. The product looked great though, I just wish I had received a more neutral/lighter product.1
Great in the pencil style, feels great when applied, very soft, however it bled after only an hour.1
Not sure why Birchbox continues to send me things I do not use, or prefer. But I do not wear bright pink lipstick. Did not like this product.1
