When we teamed up with NYC-based fashion label RUFFIAN to launch their first nail lacquer collection, we knew just who could help us choose the high-style shades to feature in this exclusive collection: you. We asked for your color votes, and the results flooded in. This set of super-luxe polishes is fashion forward with a dash of daring—just how we like it. The high-gloss formula is also chip-resistant, so your mani will stay put for days. Now that’s what we call a team effort, and a gorgeous one at that.
Everything you don't want in a nail polish: gooey and thick, doesn't dry quickly, is so thick that it dents after it dries, and to boot, starts chipping within 24 hours. The only thing I liked about it was the nice, neutral beige color on my skin.1
Purple, red, and orange, hold up very well in their bottles, but the green "hedge fund" color gets clumpy in it's bottle very quickly. All are long wearing and beautiful, although the purple was a bit intense with my skin color.2
I get lots of compliments on this color. I have to put on a few coats but it looks great5
I wanted to really like this nail polish (interesting color, cute packaging) but it didn't last very long on my nails. Next time I'll try adding a top coat to see if that helps.3
The color coverage was alright, but it chips SO easy....will stick with my OPI or Essie1
I like the color and generally most of the Ruffian colors. I liked the polish overall, but wasn't in love with it. I needed a couple of coats to get the color even. I have other brands I prefer to this.3
I got a nude color, which looked great! Easy to apply and lasted all the way through a weekend Vegas trip.5
I received a green polish that was a gorgeous green and didn't chip after two weeks. I'm a fan. for life.5
I received the orange (fox hunt) color in my Birchbox. Love the color; looks good on my skin tone and it was something new for me because I've never bought an orange nail polish. Alas, when I put it on, it didn't last more than an hour before it started chipping away.3
I thought the formula was faily thick which provided good coverage but made it harder to apply. I liked the green color; it was good to get something other than red or pink.3
