We credit this makeup artist favorite for proving to us that a primer can be long-lasting and effective without feeling heavy. The light, oil-free formula smoothes skin so that foundation goes on evenly and stays fresh all day. And now it’s even better than ever: It’s newly re-launched with a snazzy new squeeze tube that make it easy to dispense as little or as much as you need.
It works alright, but something about the formula leaves my skin feeling greasy at the end of the day and I sometimes break out.3
This product is definitely effective in minimizing pores, but my skin didn't take well to it - specifically my t-zone. I have combination skin, and this product tends to bring my skin over to the oily side. I would wear this in dryer weather, but with summer coming up I'm not sure if I'll keep it in my cosmetics bag!3
I have tried this product before, but I dont usually use foundation primers, so I dont have much to compare it to.3
I don't use primers because I never wear foundation, so the primers seem pointless. I tried this under my daily BB cream and didn't notice a difference. I did really like the matte look and almost powdery texture it created on my face, however!3
I have another primer I use from Elizabeth Arden that lasts much longer.3
i have always wanted to try something from this line and am realizing that primer is a great idea although i worry that it makes me face break out. this one seems good so far!3
I was so excited to try this product! I love Smashbox, I love primer...I figured I would love this product! It was pretty good. It was smooth, reduces the look of pores and reduced shine. I don't wear foundation so I can't review that part. I do wear powder and it helped it stay on for an hour or two. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it, oddly enough considering it took the shine away, made my skin feel kinda greasy. It made my skin feel sweaty underneath it it. It's a strange feeling and hard to describe. I would say that it's worth a try, because besides the whole weird feeling thing, I liked it and maybe it would work better for someone else with a different skin type. I have combo skin just in case you were wondering. :)3
It makes me break out and look shiny. But for the first hour, I look great.3
I already put a ton of layers on my face before my make up- I wish this had a SPF built in and then I would def. use it.3
I like this primer. It goes on super smooth and feels silky on skin. Its down fall is the fact that it has no spf in it. I have two other primers that work the same and have added spf. Which in- my 30's is on the top 5 lists of musts for anything I buy.
