Inspired by our global offices in four of the world’s classic cities (not to mention our love of travel), this bold collection of minis—created exclusively for Birchbox—features summer's hottest hues. Our editors worked closely with Color Club to develop these custom shades, visiting the brand’s Long Island factory to collaborate with the brand’s in-house chemist. You definitely won't find anything like these on-trend, brightly hued polishes anywhere else.
This stuff is runny, and steaky and takes more than THREE coats to look ok.2
I get it--white's great for summer. And I'll admit, the Mod in Manhattan shade looks alright once applied. But I"m still not crazy about it--I would have much preferred one of the other pastel shades. Couldn't help but envy those who got the coral or purple. Definitely not something I would purchase.2
This had a terrible forumla, but such fun colors. dissapointed2
I was excited to get this nail polish because the color is totally cute, and not a color I would normally buy for myself so I was happy about it. Unfortunately the quality was not very good. It did not go on smooth. It didn't dry well even with a light. I still have it on and got some compliments on the color, but if you look close it is not very clean. A little disappointed in this one :(2
It is a cute little bottle BUT I cant get over that it looks like I have white-out on my nails. Also, its hard to make this polish not look streaky2
I got the neon/pastel green in my box this month and I think it is an ok color. It is really not my style. It is very bright and everyone who has seen my nails has made that comment. It did last for 3 days before it started to chip.2
So I got the nude color and although I might not paint my nails that often, this color was way too close to my natural skin color. It made my nails blend into my skin and was just not pretty.2
I wasn't a big fan of the green polish I got from my birchbox sample. I like to try different colors but this one was so bright that I thought it might actually glow in the dark. It did not go well with my lighter skin tone but might work better against darker skin tones. The polish was also not easy to apply. It seemed like the first coat was dispersing on the nail too much. I would wait at least a minute or two before applying the second coat. I had to do my nails twice to get them to look smooth, which I achieved the second time. The color could be fun but its just not very versatile for every day wear for me.2
The positive is that the neon pastel is a fun new color concept for me. I received London Calling and I looked instantly more tanned after polishing my toenails. Sadly the negative is hard to get past. The formula was so clumpy and didn't self-level well that I it was hard to get a good looking application. I doubt it will last long before needing to be tossed.2
I so wish that I got a color I would wear! Pretty much anything but bright pink!
The color seems to go on really and opaquely on the nail I tried it on, though, so I wish I had a color I could really wear and try out.
Does anyone know if there is a place on Birchbox to tell them about colors you don't wear?
