Inspired by our global offices in four of the world’s classic cities (not to mention our love of travel), this bold collection of minis—created exclusively for Birchbox—features summer's hottest hues. Our editors worked closely with Color Club to develop these custom shades, visiting the brand’s Long Island factory to collaborate with the brand’s in-house chemist. You definitely won't find anything like these on-trend, brightly hued polishes anywhere else.
I must say, I LOVE the neon coral color and was thrilled to see it in my Birchbox. I immediately tried it out, but it just wouldn't dry! After 45 minutes I finally gave up and took it off. I tried again the next day as the color is so great, but again it just would not dry. Even after an hour my nails were still tacky. Tried a 3rd time today and here I sit over 30 minutes later and my nails are nowhere near dry.
My hands were washed and dried well beforehand each time, so that wasn't the problem. I've never had this problem with nail polish before.
I tried really hard to love this product but was ultimately disappointed.
I own London Calling, a bright mint green. If it weren't for the pretty color, this product would've been a total fail. The formula is overly thick, and because of that or the terrible brush or a bit of both, it applies unevenly, streaky. Love the color, hate the polish itself. Still, it's a good deal getting four for $8, so that's something.2
The color looks pale pink in the bottle but it looks like white out on your nails. I love the idea of it, but it needs to be more sparkly or more sheer to avoid the "I painted my nails with white out because I was bored in home room" look.2
When I got this nail polish in my birch box, my immediate thought was - oh...not neon....anything but neon. (I just can't get on board with the neon trend right now.) But I decided to give it a try. I put it on one nail and was running to the bathroom to get it off. This is just not for me. I don't have anything against the brand (although it did go on a bit runny) and would have liked to try the pretty bluish/purple in this pack. But this will be gifted to someone who will appreciate it more than me.2
Green is my favorite color, so I was SO happy so see the London Calling color in my Birchbox this month! I just painted it on my nails, and the color does NOT look good on me! My skin is too fair to pull this color off. Bummer!2
i got a white color, great, that is so not attractive.2
but unfortunately I got the sample of the one color I don't like, the purple one. However, the polish is nice and I'll probably order it so I can get the mint and the coral which are lovely.2
I do like the mint color of this nail polish- but it is very chalky on and doesn't have even coverage.2
I'll admit I'm not a very talented nail polisher, so the Mod in Manhattan wasn't for me. It went on very thin and showed every flaw in my paint job. I prefer colors and coverage that's more forgiving.2
I have received Color Club polishes before, and I am always pleased with the quality and low-chip factor. The color always lasts! However I did not like the mod white color at all...it looks like I painted my nails with white-out at the office.2
