Inspired by our global offices in four of the world’s classic cities (not to mention our love of travel), this bold collection of minis—created exclusively for Birchbox—features summer's hottest hues. Our editors worked closely with Color Club to develop these custom shades, visiting the brand’s Long Island factory to collaborate with the brand’s in-house chemist. You definitely won't find anything like these on-trend, brightly hued polishes anywhere else.
I received the London Calling (mint green) in my birchbox and thought it was gorgeous in the bottle. On my nails, however, it was another story. It was kind of goopy and just seemed too thick. It looked as though I had painted my nails with white out. Not a fan of this color.1
I sampled the coral color and it is really bright and fun for summer. You do need a couple of coats to avoid the streaks.4
I received the Reign in Spain color in my box this month. While I was not thrilled with the color, I decided it was summer and I might as well give it a try. As a redhead with almost translucent skin, I figured that a fluorescent orange was so not my color. I was so wrong! I got it on my toenails during my pedicure last night and I absolutely love it. I don't have a hint of a tan at the moment but it still looks great against my pasty white skin. I know it will great with a self tanner as well.4
I really like bright nail polishes, but I tend to use very pale/neutral colors on my own nails. I received the orange color, so it was way to bright for my taste. I gave it to a friend who really liked it, though. If you're into bright colors on your nails, these will probably be great for you.1
I love the colors they are really cute, the only issue is that they tend to chip pretty easily.5
I got the white color, and was happily surprised that it covered in only two coats. I also found that after a day of steaming clothes the polish crackled, and now my nails look kind of like ceramic. It was totally unintentional but it looks awesome!5
I tried the London color and was a little nervous since I usually stick to the basics. I was shocked that the color actually looked neon when I painted my nails, it was fun and a new change. In the evening I noticed it nearly glowed and really makes a person look tanner- which as a fair skin girl, I loved! Within a day I ordered the full pack.. can't wait to get the other colors.5
Very bright, fun color. Looks great on tan skin. Long-lasting.5
I love color club polishes, I recieved the pink shade in my box this month. It was almost too bright for me though, looked like a highlighter on my nails. Perfect for anyone who loves BRIGHT shades in the summer.5
This is the second sample I've recieved in my Birchbox of this brand. This time the color was white. (Last time it was a dark greenish color). I didn't like this white color but I tried it on my nails and it was awful. It looked like I used white-out! And it was really streaky. I like the previous green color but it totally stained my nails and any skin it touched. I should note that I do have sensitive skin so that might have contributed to the staining.1
