Whether you’re a bride-to-be or a perennial bridesmaid (we feel your pain, lady), Oscar de la Renta’s Something Blue is an elegant wear-anywhere scent. Featuring lush floral notes, the feminine blend has enough staying power to last from the first dance to the bouquet toss—or just morning coffee to evening nightcap. Fittingly, the chic vintage-looking bottle includes a removable engraved ring.
The perfume went on a bit strong but quickly faded and smelled nice.5
I liked it, it smells good, but it is not really right for me.3
I was genuinely surprised to receive this in my June box: it is so much more grown-up than any of the fragrances that I have received so far from Birchbox. There are lovely citrus top-notes, like bergamot, and it faded pleasantly to musky notes, a combo of vanilla and ambergris. I was really surprised and happy with this. While not one I will purchase for my collection, because it was a little to heavy, I am happy to use the sample!4
This fragrance was ok. It is not really something i would want to wear every day but is a nice change of pace from most popular scents out there.3
I'm really not a fan of fragrance samples, and this one is no different. Its not something I would ever wear, so its really not useful for me. The scent is interesting, not good or bad per say but nothing I'd wear. Will pass it off3
This smelled very nice but I don't think I would ever buy a full bottle. I felt the smell was "lush and elegant" as the description mentions, but it's too robust for me to want to wear it daily.3
Fragrance is light and floral. Do not need much to have scent last all day. Just a dab at neck and wrist and you are good to go.4
This smell is so great. i am already in love with it. it is light and floral but not overpowering. it is a fresh scent that can be worn for casual days or formal events. smells like lilac.5
The descriptions of perfumes always sound a lot more appealing than they actually smell. This is definitely the case for Something Blue. I like fruity or light floral scents and this scent was just too heavy smelling for my liking. A bit heavy on the woodsy scent and something I picture older women possibly liking.2
i do not usually like musk scents and this was no different, but i do have to say the packaging is gorgeous!2
