Ever since Angelina Jolie wore a side split dress on the red carpet, smooth, toned legs have been en vogue. Rather than putting in overtime at the gym, treat your legs with this skin-firming lotion from chic French brand Caudalie. The tinted formula imparts a subtle tan and has grown-up shimmer to mask flaws.
I'm not a huge fan of self tanner so I was not really that thrilled to try this. I didn't put it on my legs but the formula seemed really watery and not for me.1
It's not a self-tanner, but a tinted lotion. It comes off on clothes and linens if you sweat. It's not worth the slight tan effect it temporarily gives.1
Did not work! There were streaks down my legs and it was far too shimmery.1
I'm not a fan of self tanners but I gave this one a chance. I didn't like how it rubbed off on my clothes and other things.1
i do not generally tan so thought i would give this a try just around the house. Overall I ended up mixing it with some lotion for more even application and to make the sample go farther. I just didnt love it. This isnt a product i would use generally though.1
I would rather get a natural tan or use another type of self-tanner that was a bit more user friendly. Just not a product meant for me, especially when the sample size was so small.1
I don't understand the appeal of using fake tanner, but I was open to trying it. The sample was too small, in unappealing packaging, and it was fine but didn't do much for me...definitely won't be purchasing.1
I am not a fan of tanning at all, be it self or sun. Just not my thing. However, I like to try everything in my BB so I gave it a go. It was messy, felt gross, and came off on everything.1
It seems like a nice lotion, although I am very pale and this is just a waste of a product for me. Its been in my drawer ever since I received it and probably will never come out unless its going in the trash. I wish Birchbox had something where you could put in certain characteristics about yourself so people don't receive pointless products.1
I tried this product before a picnic I was hosting. At first application, the product was okay - a little streaky, but I like the shimmer effect. However, any time I got anywhere NEAR anything wet, I looked like I had muddy water running down my legs. Condensation from a drink left me spotty and trying not to get the product on my clothes, the seats, or anything else. Ick. I can't imagine what this would do in real humidity or heat.1
