Ever since Angelina Jolie wore a side split dress on the red carpet, smooth, toned legs have been en vogue. Rather than putting in overtime at the gym, treat your legs with this skin-firming lotion from chic French brand Caudalie. The tinted formula imparts a subtle tan and has grown-up shimmer to mask flaws.
I am already very naturally tan so I don't use self tanner. I wasn't very pleased with the color or the smell of the product. The sample size wasn't big enough to really get a full look of what my body would look like being covered in it.1
Ugh! What a disappointment. And such a nice scent. I spread the sample on my leg & worked really hard to get it even/not streaky. Sadly, to no avail - patches and streaks everywhere. I tried using more on my 2nd leg, and that just made it worse. At least it came off easily. Will continue to look for a product that will help tone down my bright-white legs.1
I'm pale... Really really pale. And I'm ok with that. Sunless tanners are a nice thought, but they don't really ever work as advertised and nothing is ever really going to cover up my extreme paleness. So, this isn't really for me. Also, I think the idea of a firming lotion is a little weird... Shouldn't we all just be excising more and trying to be healthier if we want firm legs?1
I use St. Tropez normally and tried this product as a sample from the subscription, which wasn't even enough to cover one leg and left streaking. I would be really scared to wear it out in public because I feel like it might leave marks on something if I sat down or touched anything. The smell wasn't all that great either :(1
This product was too dark and too streaky. Jergens makes a much better, and efficient product for a much better price.1
I am not a fan of self tanner, and this product did not turn me on. I wasn't crazy about the scent and the look of it was just off.1
i have been using self tanners and bronzing lotions since they came out on the market in the 70's. i know all about exfoliating, moisturizing, not shaving or waxing right before applying. i feel i am a master pro at application. however, this product , while going on smoothly, within a few minutes, looked mottled and spotted. it seemed to grab and streak, no matter how careful i was. the good part is, the staying power was very short lived. what didn't sink into my skin, rubbed off. i won't be buying this product.1
The tint is ok, but dont expect it to smell like the divine oil. this smells a lil funky to me1
I typically get a natural sun tan (yes, I know it's bad for my skin!) but I liked the idea of this product. However, I felt like it would rub off on something like my clothes or furniture. Also I didn't like the smell at all. I'm going to stick with the real deal for now.1
Wasn't the right shade for a pasty red head and left pretty bad streaks1
