The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I was rather disappointed with this hairband. In fact, I was rather disappointed to receive a hairband in my birchbox at all. I generally wear my hair in styles to COVER up my hairband (wrap hair around it, use a hairband before a bun, etc). Even though the orange seahorse patterned twistband I received was cute, I'm 25, not 12. No need for any hair accessories that are not clear or the color of natural hair. Also, what in the world is so special about a piece of elastic with a big fat KNOT in it...I could buy a spool of elastic from Michaels and make 100 of these for half the price of 3...I am really not sure how they ever got picked up to be manufactured and marketed.1
While the hair tie is cute and girly, spending that money on a hair tie could be used for something better. I would have rather been exposed to another product than the hair tie. Wasn't my thing :-/1
i have received a couple things through birchbox which i like..but here again is another useless item. i gave them my demographics and likes but i always seem to get the bad samples which are not for me. its too bad.1
The hairtie is cute but I prefer hair bands to feel a bit more secure. I also like a more subtle look and these hair bands are a bit flashy. They're also a bit pricey for elastic fabric.1
Yes, I see the fact that people are raving about this is because of the ouchless snags when you pull it off your hair. However, some girls have curls or perms, I don't really wear a hairtie, so this wasn't too helpful or beneficial to me.1
I've gotten these hair ties in my boxes before, and just like then, I am still not impressed. It's a piece of elasticized ribbon tied in a know...whoopdy-do. Who would spend $14 on a 6 pack of hair ties that are just begging to tangle in your hair? Not impressed...at all.1
I have really thick hair and this hair tie did not hold my hair at all. It was very cute and fun to wear on your wrist, but there really is no other point for it for thicker hair.1
My twistband wouldn't hold my hair in a bun, and when I finally took it out the elastic had been totally stretched out. Disappointing.1
the pattern on the one I received is a little too cutesy and I don't think I could wear it. If I keep it around and there are no other hair ties within reach, then I'd probably use it. I don't really like the leftover part of material that hangs out either.1
I suppose that my hair is just way too thick for this product to be effective. It's a shame because it was adorable with all of the little anchors on it.1
