The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I love twistbands, so I was really happy to get another in my June box. I got a really cute navy and white striped one. My favorite colors and pattern! They don't make dents in your hair and look just as cute on your wrist. Thanks Birchbox!5
I received a twistband in a green and blue star print. It's very cute and certainly looks better on my wrist than a ratty old elastic tie. However, I have fine hair and this didn't hold my ponytail very well unless I wrapped it super tight. I think this might work best when used with thicker hair.3
I don't understand the current obsession with these headbands. I don't wear headbands like these often which may be why I don't care for this product. It's cute and I may wear it around the house but I probably won't be going out to buy them.3
Cute hair tie for around the house or at the pool.2
These hair ties are adorable and are gentle on your hair! I love them! My hair stays in place!5
Particularly the fact that they don't break my hair strands and leave them look healthy and happy after use.5
I like the idea of a patterned elastic but my hair is to thick it wouldn't hold it all.3
I got the pink and green one in the box and I loveeeeeee it! Buying the set! Looks great layered with accessories on your wrist as well!5
My hair is extremely short so these ties do nothing for me. I did however, put my daughters hair up with it and it't cute.4
I guess this was shipped to me before the "My hair is too short for a ponytail" profile question kicked in.... I couldn't test it out as intended, but it's cute if you like the nautical theme. Not sure how well it would hold onto fine hair, or how it would hold up to repeat use - just based on slipping it on and off my wrist a couple of times, not sure if the price matches the quality.2
