The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I've seen these around and thought they looked cute, especially on the wrist. I may wear them to the gym if I can't find a hair tie at the time, but it won't hold my daughter's thick hair back for long.3
One of my friends got a Twistband in her Birchbox last year and I thought it was so cool, I loved the novelty. Needless to say, I was so excited to see one in my June box! The pattern wasn't my favorite- too preppy for my style- but I have the band a whirl that day. I have style ADD put my hair up and down throughout the day. After the second or third ponytail, I noticed that my Twistband had stretched out a lot. It's now too big to wear as a bracelet and looks kind of raggedy. I'll only use this around the house or when I wash my face.2
These hair tyes are so cute and handy. I keep them in my desk at work and at home. The anchors aren't my favorite pattern, but it is cute for the summer.4
I love ponytails on a nice day when I don't have time to do anything with my hair... so pretty much every weekend. I am always nervous about hair breakage because this has happened to me before. These don't pull too tight and don't snag my hair. I will be buying these instead!5
i mean, i love a great hair tie, but a little too childish for me. i prefer my hair ties to blend in a little better.2
I love this type of hair tie and was excited for the cute summery print in my box!5
Theses are neat hair ties. They are a good product but cost too much for their application.3
I have super thick hair and this little hair tie was just not big enough or strong enough to rein it all in. I need something with a little more elastic to hold back my ponytail. The design was super cute for summer though, and it is definitely be a fun little accessory for the beach or pool!2
I was blown away by these cuties last time they were in our box, and ordered a set. They are very cute but, sadly, the edges fray pretty quickly which makes for not-so-cute a look. I also do not care for little illustrations on my hair ties; more for girls/teens.3
Unfortunately, these ties do not work in my hair :( I have thick hair and a lot of it and these end up slipping right out and are unable to hold up an updos/high ponytail/bun/etc.
They are cute, just not functional.
