The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I love these types of pony tail holders! All of my others are solid, so I love this one with a pattern on it. Such a cute and fun surprise in my box!5
thankfully, i have thick and super long hair, however the hair tie i received will probably not make the cut into my daily routine. its not elastic enough to wrap a bun but it will hold a pony tail. i'll rock it on my wrist, just cuz its pretty1
I got a blue stripped one and it is super cute on my wrist and in my hair5
I already received one of these in a previous box and didnt really like that one to begin with.1
This is the perfect item for all of us with a ponytail holder on our wrist, hooked on a purse, woven through a belt loop. LOVE the soft texture (for skin and hair alike), adore the pattern, can't wait to acquire more! GREAT BB score!!!!5
This hair tie is so cute! I got a white one with blue anchors. I have medium thick hair and it holds my hair in a pony tail well.5
I really like the twist bands and already bought the sampler pack from birchbox and so was happy to have the spare. My only complaint is that with the lace and designed ones, they should print on both sides so it doesn't matter how you flip the hair tie- the design is outside.5
These pattern hair ties are very cute! I own quite a few of this style hair band and I like them for holding my hair back while exercising or showering but they are not strong enough to hold a hairstyle for the entire day4
I am so excited about this twistband thing you have no clue. I’ve been reading about them on blogs and didn’t know why people were so excited. I mean they are hair ties. Well I saw the anchors one and was dying to have it (I am a Delta Gamma). And guess what! I got the lime green (favorite color) and blue (second favorite) anchor twistband. I may never go back to normal elastics ever again. Since I have long hair, I always have an elastic on my wrist. The twistband makes my normal elastic look cheesy. This company reminds me of another company I like – SweatyBands – that I learned about through half marathon expos.5
I received the seahorse twist band in my box and I think it's absolutely adorable. My hair is at one of those weird lengths where it doesn't quite stay up in a pony tail yet, so I can't really test it's strength yet, but it does seem like it holds what it can quite well.3
