The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
I really like the twist bands and already bought the sampler pack from birchbox and so was happy to have the spare. My only complaint is that with the lace and designed ones, they should print on both sides so it doesn't matter how you flip the hair tie- the design is outside.5
These pattern hair ties are very cute! I own quite a few of this style hair band and I like them for holding my hair back while exercising or showering but they are not strong enough to hold a hairstyle for the entire day4
I am so excited about this twistband thing you have no clue. I’ve been reading about them on blogs and didn’t know why people were so excited. I mean they are hair ties. Well I saw the anchors one and was dying to have it (I am a Delta Gamma). And guess what! I got the lime green (favorite color) and blue (second favorite) anchor twistband. I may never go back to normal elastics ever again. Since I have long hair, I always have an elastic on my wrist. The twistband makes my normal elastic look cheesy. This company reminds me of another company I like – SweatyBands – that I learned about through half marathon expos.5
I received the seahorse twist band in my box and I think it's absolutely adorable. My hair is at one of those weird lengths where it doesn't quite stay up in a pony tail yet, so I can't really test it's strength yet, but it does seem like it holds what it can quite well.3
I have been searching for a pony tail holder that does not pull my hair, hurt or leave me with a headache, and boy have I found one with this twistband! These are amazing! They don't hurt or leave me with a headache. I will definitely buy more of these soon!5
I got the twistband with the anchors on it which is adorable. I've never used a twistband before and I'm definitely glad I have one now!4
I love the unique design on this hair tie (seahorses). Not that effective for holding hair back but a good emergency tie and it looks cute on my wrist3
I love these hair ties, there cute around the wrist and they don't pull on my hair or leave crimps.5
I have really thick hair, so some ponytail holders don't hold it well, but this one worked wonderfully! My ponytail didn't droop throughout the day like it normally does.4
I didnt think I'd like it, but Ive been wearing since it arrived. I love it.5
