The nautical trend isn't just for seersucker pants or preppy boat shoes. Make waves (and keep your budget in shipshape) with these mariner-inspired hair ties. They effortlessly keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving behind ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytails.
Living in a hot climate, I always have a hair tie on my wrist, ready for a hot moment. This band is not only so cute, but it also doesnt hurt my wrist like my normal silicone tie does. I love how thin it is and although i've only tried it for a few hours now, it seems like it holds pretty well.4
Loved the twistband that I received in my June box. Perfect fit on the wrist when I don't need my hair back and when I do need my hair back it worked great. Now I have to figure out how to keep it away from my daughter so she doesn't take it!5
I love twistbands. I have tons of them. My nine year old loves them too, I find they still leave a ripple in my hair but are very stylish.5
I love these, so cute. I can only fit it once around my hair though, which is very thick and naturally wavy. If I straighten my hair I could probably get it around twice, but then when it's straight I usually don't put it up. Probably works better on thinner hair. Still cute and I would recommend though if you don't have thick, wavy or curly hair. Also cute on the wrist.3
Love the patterns on these twistbands. I've been using twistbands ever seen receiving one from Birchbox many many months ago now and they are my favourite hair tie.5
The seahorses are so cute and preppy. They put me in the mood for Summer.3
I think these are great. I am always wearing hair ties on my wrists and this one looks cute and is comfortable to wear and doesn't leave a mark. Additionally, I love that it doesn't leave a crease in my hair! The only thing that it loses a star for is that i can't secure it quite as tight as I like my pony tails, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. Definitely buying these.4
Birchbox introduced me to the Twistband over a year ago, and I still love them! It's the only hairband I've ever used that doesn't leave that tell-tale "bump" in my thin, fine hair after I take out the band. They look pretty cute on your wrist, too, when they're not in use. :)
My only complaint is that the pattern on the printed Twistband starts to crack/fade off. My suggestion would be to purchase the plain colored Twistbands, as they stay "neat" looking longer.
Love the nautical print on the twistband! These have become my favorite hair accessories.5
Nice to wear as a bracelet and then have it if you need to put up your hair. It's a nice, loose casual pony tail.4
