Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser

This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it’'s won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'’ll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth (sold separately), skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.

I'm not too into this because of the steps involved. I'm too busy to take the time to do this. If you have the time, I'm jealous but for someone like me I feel there are quicker products that are just as effective.

This product is decent. Texture and consistency are fine.

Really? What is the big deal about this product?
Sampled

Didn't care for this product for a few reasons. The muslin cloth does not squeeze well and water drips while I'm washing. I had to rinse several times and my face still didn't feel as clean as my clarisonic makes it feel, nor did it tighten pores. The product has no lather which I know is not a big deal, but I mean NO LATHER, so the cloth doesn't move smoothly across my skin. will stick with my regular facial wash and clarisonic.

Not for me
Sampled

I did not care for this product, the cloth irritated my face and I did not feel like the cleanser did a good job of removing my makeup. I ended up washing my face with a foaming cleanser.

Not a fan of this product. Also the small cloth that was part of the sample was way to small to use. I would not buy this product

Not for those with sensitive skin or lupus!
Sampled

I have lupus. I have to be very careful with the products I use. My dermatologist gave me the ok to try this. But, I was told to remove the second it felt like stinging. It did feel stingy within about 3p seconds. Wasn't warm- was STINGING.
Great product. Just not for my skin:(

Not a fan of scratchy muslin
Sampled

The whole system of muslin cloth to scrub your delicate facial skin is so misguided. The cleanser leaves a residue. It's not worth salvaging cleanser for use without the scratchy rag. Total disappointment.

I don't like skincare stuff in my birchbox so I'm not a good person to ask about this.
