This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth, skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
I have never really had "problem" skin, but I am prone to sporadic dry skin because I use prescription tazorac gel. I thought that the Liz Earle cleanser would be perfect for me of the creamy texture. I started breaking out almost immediately after using this product. I know that skin sometimes takes a while to adjust to a new regimen, so I continued using this product. The breakouts never cleared, and I did not find it to be an effective makeup remover, unless I used the cleanser more that once. Once I stopped using this cleanser, the breakouts stopped and my skin cleared. A friend of mine who ordered this product had the same reaction.1
I didn't like this product at all compared to the numerous other products out there, I would rather use them.
I bought this cleanser thinking that since I had sampled it before and liked it, I would buy it in place of my usual makeup remover. I had used this product for about a week with no problems, until I started to develop acne nodules on my chin/by my lower lip area. My skin has definitely been through the ringer for the past several years and I recently have only started to settle it down, so I was concerned when I started getting nodules again. I decided to stop using the cream on my entire face for a few days and my skin has started to clear itself up again. Unfortunately, I will be relegating this product for use on my eye makeup only. I don't think I'd buy it again because of my skin issues, but I think a lot of other people would truly enjoy it. It really does take off makeup easily, is gentle, and feels great to use.1
This is so excellent. I love the way this removes all make up and leaves your skin feeling super clean and soft. The clothes that come with it are awesome. I ordered extra.1
Creamy, doesn't foam. It feels like putting on lotion in the shower, I had to wash my face again after using it. Looks great in my shower, love the package, but not the face wash.1
Let me start by saying I have great skin and almost never get acne (maybe 2x per year I get 1 pimple). I also am very faithful to my morning and nightly face washing - I never skip. This product gave me white heads. It was very bizarre. I gave it a second chance and the same thing happened again - white heads. I was pretty disappointed because this product smells great and feels like lotion going on, silky smooth. Looks like others have had better luck than me.1
The best thing about this product is the tiny box it came in that fits all my sample creams. The cloth is okay. I am just not that impressed. I do like Murad, Sampar, Borghese, Dermalogica, so maybe I am spoiled.1
I don't understand why this has five stars, maybe I'm missing something! It was just a cream that I washed off my face with a hot cloth (the cloth itself was nice). My skin was the exact same as it normally is when I wash with something else.1
the first time I got it, and even less the second time. I wanted to like it because the muslin cloth seemed like a great exfoliator, but I just didn't like how it felt.1
I actually have received this sample twice now and I am not a big fan. I have a lot of other face cleansers I like way better.1
