This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth (sold separately), skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
it irritated my skin and using the cloth just made it worse.1
I didnt like this product, it doesnt remove the makeup, i dont feel my skin fresh and clean.1
I take my skin care pretty seriously. This cleanser is not ideal for sensitive skin or oily/acne prone skin. It contains cocoa butter and beeswax (hello acne) and doesn't contain an ingredient to remove facial oil. It also contains eucalyptus and limonene which can be irritating for sensitive skin. Not a fan.1
I didn't like this product because it made my face extremely dry and breakout1
The muslin cloth was alright. I can definitely use that. But the face wash that came with it was AWFUL! It made my skin incredibly broken out. Probably the worst it has ever been in my entire life. I'm not even kidding.1
I didn't understand how to use this product with the cloth. I thought the smell was horrible. It smelled like menthol and the consistency after washing off left a waxy residue.1
My skin didn't agree with this product. I have very sensitive skin.1
I was super excited to try this because I've heard so many rave reviews, and I was so disappointed.
Smells like vaper rub, felt like it wouldn't wipe off, and left my skin feeling waxy. Straight in the garbage with the rest of the tube.
The cloth is a different story. Used it with my usual cleanser to get the residue off my face. Really love it.
I have owned and tried this cleanser before I have received a sample via Birchbox. I personally do not care for this product due to several reasons. First of all the scent is overpowering and lingers. The consistency is goopy, too thick and dries sticky to the point that the face needs to be cleansed again. Last, the product had so many chemicals and added fragrance that it left my skin irritated and red.1
I was really excited to try this product but it really let me down. About once a month I get a very small breakout and I have very good skin. This product gave me very hard whiteheads all over my the apples of my cheeks. We aren't talking a purge thing here either. Now I can't get rid of one of the whiteheads at all. It is right in the center of my left cheek and will not go away. Very upset about this and I think I will have to have this hard whitehead extracted by an esthetician. Terrible product for my face.1
