This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth (sold separately), skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
I love this hot cloth cleanser - the cleanser, tonic, and moisturizer trio really keep my skin clear and blemish free. Using all three of them is key - I can absolutely tell if I've missed a step in the 3 step process. The cloths work really well as an exfoliator, so you don't need any additional products. Would definitely recommend it to other customers.5
I got a sample of this in my birchbox and didn't think much of it. But I loved the Brighteye serum. So when I was recently in London I found myself near the Liz Earle shop and thought I would just pick up the brighteye while I was there. They were running a special for the entire cleansing system (cloths, cleanser, tonic, moisturizer and free eyebright) so I grabbed it. After sticking to it for a more than the day or two the sample allowed, I've found that I LOVE this brand and this cleanser. My face feels so clean and smooth, but not that tight squeaky clean you get with other cleansers. I will admit that I don't like using the muslim because of the upkeep with them (I'm that lazy). But they do work very well and I get why I need to keep using them. So overall, very happy with my purchase and even happier that I can buy everything at Birchbox since I dont' know when I'll get back to London.4
There are pros and cons to this product. When I first started using it, it left my skin looking so moisturized I thought it was a trick. It completely changed my entire perception of cream cleansers so now that's the only kind of cleanser I'll use. However, over time it didn't help with blemishes the way that I thought it would. I have dry, sensitive skin, so most cleansers make my face throw a tantrum. Maybe it was a little too moisturizing for my face to handle, but if your skin isn't as finicky as mine and you want that almost glowing, dewy look, this is for you!3
Just creamy enough and leaves your face feeling fresh and clean. It also gets makeup out really well.
The cloth also is a perfect mild exfoliator. .
I like how my skin feels after putting this on. I like to use this when I shower in the morning, it's easier for me to use with the cloth. The eucalyptus and rosemary oils are very calming and soothing. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate.
I've had acne since I was 13. I always thought I had to use harsh medicated products to fix my skin but this changed everything. On a whim, I bought the trial kit from Birchbox (the full line in travel sizes) and this cleanser is a WINNER. Its gentle, the muslin cloth in combination helps to sweep away dead skin cells, I feel clean and clear, and it gets ALL my makeup off. I'll never go back to a traditional cleanser.5
This cleaning system revolutionized how I remove all my makeup at the end of the day. It's so reliable and gentle in removing eye makeup and face makeup and refreshes at the same time.5
Used with the muslin cloth it is a great exfoliation as well as cleanser. Very moisturizing and did not irritate sensitive skin. Purchased full size product.4
Great product, removed makeup and left my skin feeling clean and not over-dried. I will consider purchasing the full size product and would consider trying other products in the Liz Earle line.5
This cleanser is a part of my every day cleansing routine. it smells good, spreads easily, and buffs my skin to perfection when used with the buffing cloth. This stuff is the best and I will probably use it forever. It is a bit pricey, but worth it for the results. Definitely a must have in every woman's skin care routine.5
