This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth, skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
I have heard this product has a cult following but I used it in conjunction with my existing skin care regiment and didn't see much of a difference. I am a Dermologica user and swapped this out for my exfoliant/cleanser a few times a week. I think my current skin care regiment works better than this does.3
This product was amazing! I loved the cleanser and it paired perfectly with the muslin cloth. I would definitely recommend. The scent was also very invigorating.5
I really wanted to love this and I think I will use the muslin cloth with my own cleanser in the future, but this cream actually made me breakout. It wasn't just once either, it happened every time I used it. Pretty disappointing...3
I have had trouble with my skin since I started college. Nothing ever cleared me up AND made my skin feel good. I'm 25 and have been using Proactive to try to keep my complextion clear and even....NEVER AGAIN! Liz Earle has changed my skin's life! The cleanser is gentle, but does everything from clean to moisturize to even my complextion! LOVE :)5
Wow, this product is something different entirely! It's unusual to use, as you don't wet your face first, you just slather the cream on and wipe it off with the hot, moist muslin cloth. It was a really refreshing experience. The level of exfoliation was amazing, mainly due to the cloth (that will feel quite scratchy if you have sensitive skin). The scent of the product is light and natural, but does smell a little bit like some products my grandma uses. Maybe it's the eucalyptus. Using this product was a borderline spa experience, but it isn't a cleanser I would like to use on a daily basis.3
This sample was gorgeously packaged. I was a little confused about using this type of cleanser/cloth combo but I really like it! It removes all my makeup while gently exfoliating. For more deep, once-a-week cleaning I still stand by my Clarisonic but this cleanser is nice for daily use. I will probably purchase a full size.5
I am skin-care illiterate, and I have been trying to find the right combo of products for my alternately oily/dry/flaky skin in vain for a long time. I finally hit on some success when I discovered a pH neutral brand of facial cleanser, but that didn't help much with exfoliation. This product, however, in combination with the cloth not only smells great, but cleans beautifully and my skin feels soooo good afterwards. Still too early to see long term results, but I love it so far! Definitely will pick up a full size soon. :)4
LOVE this. This product is like FABULOUS - if you haven't tried it - you should!5
I really like this cleanser; it makes your skin feel so clean. I don't think I'll splurge for it though, because regular cleansers work fine for me.4
Great for removing stubborn waterproof makeup, but still gentle and not abrasive on your skin. Make sure you rinse the muslin cloth in hot water!5
