This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth, skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
I love that the cleanser is a cream (as opposed to an exfoliating cleanser) and meant to be applied on dry skin. I love the texture of the cream, though I can't say 100% how effective it is at cleansing. However, after using the water-saturated muslin cloth to wipe off the cleanser, I was hooked! I had never thought to use muslin as a face towel and I'm now a fan. Additionally, the price point of the cleanser is totally reasonable.4
This left my skin feeling tingly and fresh. The cloth exfoliated well but gently.5
I love the faint menthol smell of this product, and had flashbacks to summer camp where I first tried Noxzema as a pre-teen. That smell is where the similarities to that old-fashioned cleanser end. This stuff is great. My skin feels clean and conditioned. The first few times I used it my skin was a little dry and tight after, but our tap water is scalding hot and after running it a bit cooler, my skin felt great. About a week after first trying it, I did notice that I broke out (this is unusual) and I almost discontinued using the product. Luckily, I pushed through and my skin has cleared up and feels great. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't have overly dry skin. Can't wait to try the moisturizer!5
It leaves my face soft and feeling clean. It's a very nice product one that I've been using every night before bed.5
I use this as the first step in my routine. It gently removes everything!!!4
The fragrance is very herb-y but it doesn't linger on your skin. Very refreshing, pulls off all my makeup effortlessly, very impressed. I will purchase this once my current cleanser is gone!5
The cleanser smells fantastic and is incredibly gentle on my very sensitive skin. The muslin cloth exfoliates very well, rinses clean easily, and dries fast. I'll definitely buy this product in the future.5
I have very red, sensitive skin and almost everything irritates it or dries it out. It is quite hard to find exfoliators that I can use. This product is so interesting. It has eucalyptus oil in it so it smells like it would be a little harsh and drying, but it really leaves my face feeling plump, fresh and awake. I really like it! The polishing aspect is subtle, but I do believe it is working. My skin looks pretty lush. I also love that the muslin cloth dries super quickly and stays fresh smelling. It doesn't get that used wash cloth smell. I highly recommend trying this product!5
At first I liked this product. My skin felt pretty soft and it seemed to cleanse pretty well, however the first time I used it, I didn't have any makeup to clean off. After a couple days, however, my pores seemed to be clogging and I started breaking out more than I normally do (I have sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts). It just didn't seem to clean as thoroughly as I originally thought, especially when I needed to clean off makeup. I don't wear a ton of makeup, either, usually just a tinted moisturizer and some cover up, so I was surprised that it didn't seem to clean it all off.3
I enjoyed this gentle cleanser. My sensitive skin felt clean and refreshed.4
