This world-renowned two-part skincare system (seriously, it's won more than 100 beauty awards) has a major cult following. Try it once and you'll see why. Not only does it gently remove all traces of dirt, grime, and makeup (yes, even your waterproof, wear-all-day, no-flake mascara and eyeliner), it also sweeps away dulling dead skin cells for a gorg glow. The creamy cleanser contains moisturizing cocoa butter, and two of nature's best astringents: eucalyptus essential oil and rosemary. These plant oils lift dirt off the skin's surface without disrupting the natural barrier function. With the use of the brand's 100 percent cotton muslin cloth (sold separately), skin is gently polished without irritation—perfect for even the most sensitive of complexions.
I haven't exactly bought into the whole "hot cloth" system but the product seems to work well to remove oils. It does a terrible job with eye makeup though4
So glad that this sample was in my September 2016 box. This alone made the whole box worthwhile. After trying a sample cleanser - especially when I'm removing makeup - not just cleansing for the night, I put a small amount of toner on a cotton pad and see if my face is actually clean. With this product, it actually was! With other products I have to first remove makeup and then use a second product to cleanse. With Liz Earle, only one product was necessary. I'll be buying this product when I run out of my current cleanser. Thanks, Birchbox!5
It left my skin soft I am still not sure if I will buy one but I will continue to use my sample..3
The face wash comes with a muslin cloth that makes it unique but the wash itself is not that memorable. It feels like many other cream washes.3
This was an interesting concept! It felt weird to put the product on my dry face. I'm so used to my routine that it was difficult to break it. While my face did feel smooth after washing with the product I just like all my makeup wasn't taken off right away. And it was annoying that my makeup made stains in the washcloth. I haven't washed the cloth yet but will see how it holds up. Overall just not really my thing. But interesting concept.3
It smells nice and I like the muslin cloth, but that's it3
So far, I like this product. I've used it twice. It does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I'd like to try it for a full week before deciding.4
I don't get the big deal. It cleaned my face... But I'm not sure it's like crazy awesome.3
my face felt weird at first and the cloth felt real stiff but as soon as I got the cloth wet it was really soft and felt amazing on my face!5
Does exactly as the name implies. Makeup comes right off, and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh without the greasiness of other makeup removers. The muslin cloth is an added bonus.5
