British beauty pioneer Liz Earle has a mantra: cleanse, tone, and moisturize, twice a day, every day. And thanks to Liz, those are words we can definitely live by. With its sublime floral scent (think fresh cut roses) and calming botanicals like chamomile, cucumber, and aloe, this alcohol-free toner soothes and hydrates even the most troubled complexions. In lieu of harsh disinfectants, hops extract tones the skin and swipes away bacteria.
The entire Liz Earle line has some of my most favorite skin care products. I have sensitive skin and this toner is soothing and not at all abrasive. I have used it for awhile now (over a year?) and am almost out so it's time to order some more!5
This is a great toner if your skin tends to be or feel irritated after exfoliating or certain washes or treatments. It's super calming on the skin. I don't have what I'd call sensitive skin, but I go straight to this anytime I feel something I may have tried feels off.
It's not drying at all, but if your skin isn't completely clean, you will feel this afterwards -it'll sit on top of the grime.
I received this as part of a kit. This is a great product to use after cleansing the skin. I applied this with cotton balls all over my face and décolleté. It made my combination skin feel hydrated and not oily.5
I love this product. Its like a spa for my face. I need something that is light and doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. This is amazing, it makes me feel refreshed and bright every time I use it, even multiple times a day. It's basically a mini facial. I couldn't be happier and am already ordering another one (since I live in two different places right now and need this little treat for my face near me at all times)5
I love Liz Earle's skincare line. I used their cleanser for a long time. I got this toner as a sample in a birchbox and it's nice but for me didn't do anything for my skin one way or another. It didn't moisturize, but it wasn't drying. It didn't tone, but it didn't cause redness either.2
The Liz Earle Instant Boost is great to use in the mornings. It cleanses the face and leaves your skin feeling refreshed.4
I got this in a set I ordered & loooove it sooo much!!! A lot of the times, tonics can leave my skin feeling dry & dull. Not Liz!!!! This one actually leaves my skin feeling refreshed & super hydrated!!! Another awesome product by Liz-never disappoints!!!!5
I used to use a toner in high school but never knew exactly what it was used for or even if it was helping me, so I stopped. Recently, in my quest to learn more about my skin and to give it the best care, I have rediscovered toners. I came across this one with great reviews, and I am so happy to report that I have fallen in love with this little gem. Every morning, and most nights, I swipe some on a clean face and wait for the magic of its calming, soothing, and moisturizing effects. I only ever need a light-weight serum or moisturizer to go on top of this wonder product and I am good to go!5
This toner felt more like an oil. It smelled like a spa and made my pores feel clean but not overly dried. I absolutely love this after the polish cleanser; I will never use another toner again!!5
This feels so luxurious on my skin! I use it between the Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Dry/Sensitive Nutrient Cream, and my skin looks so alive! The scent is amazing (faint rose) and the dispenser keeps those of use who are a bit clumsy from spilling it all over the place (the top unscrews so that the product pours out of a little hole on the top of the cap). I just wish there was a way to see when the product was running out, as I am afraid I will run into an "oh no, I'm out!" moment one morning...5
