British beauty pioneer Liz Earle has a mantra: cleanse, tone, and moisturize, twice a day, every day. And thanks to Liz, those are words we can definitely live by. With its sublime floral scent (think fresh cut roses) and calming botanicals like chamomile, cucumber, and aloe, this alcohol-free toner soothes and hydrates even the most troubled complexions. In lieu of harsh disinfectants, hops extract tones the skin and swipes away bacteria.
This is gentle and smells delicious, somewhat like baby oil, but doesn't have an oily texture at all. A great follow-up to the hot polish cleanser and pre-moisturizing step too. Everything I've tried from this line is quite fantastic and works better than many products three to four times the price.5
Love this toner. It smells great and makes my skin feel so refreshed! Great size and price. I love how the bottle has the twist cap. Very convenient.5
I typically don't ever use an entire skincare line - I mix and match using products I like from many brands. When I received a sample of the cleanser a couple months ago though, I loved it so much I decided to try more. My skin is clog prone (especially when it is dry) and often just has a dull, congested look to it. The cleanser alone improved the feel of my skin so I recently purchased the toner too - and it's wonderful! I rarely used toner in the past unless it contained some sort of exfoliant (like BHA or AHA) but this is very refreshing, feels like a last step in cleansing while also giving my skin a bit of moisture. The smell is lovely as well. All the natural ingredients may be irritating to some so check the label for sure, but all I know is that my skin seems to love it! Nice price as well, especially for a product (and whole line, really) that feels so luxurious, washing my face doesn't feel like such a chore anymore at the end of the day, it's something I really look forward to.5
This toner is absolutely wonderful! Another extraordinary Liz Earle product! The smell is very organic and fresh, and gives a subtle cooling effect when applied. I discovered Liz Earle with the cleanse and polish sample and immediately saw improvement in my skin after a couple days of use. I decided to try the toner since I saw such success with the cleanser...and not surprisingly, found it to be just as wonderful! My skin looks incredibly even after using it for a week. I rarely have acne, however I do get redness, dryness and large pores on my nose a lot, and the Liz Earle products have completely erased those problems. The smell is a little lemony - different from the cleanse and polish, but still smells great.5
The Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic is awesome. Besides smelling so nice and clean, it feels so refreshing. Good stuff!!5
I love this skin tonic! It smells nice, is soothing and makes my skin look lovely! I have ordered this as well as the creamy face clensing cream and will continue to do so. It's gentle, effective care for sensitive skin! happy I found this line of products through Birchbox!5
My skin is noticeably more manageable when I use this as a toner, but I HATE the smell. It smells like a straight up baby wipe or baby powder. I hate that smell. This might be the perfect toner for me if it weren't for the baby smell. I guess some people might like that, but not me.4
I got this to go along with my cleanser and moisturizer and I really like this a lot. The smell is light and natural, just like the rest of her products.5
I really like this product. It takes off any leftover makeup residue and leaves the skin soft and smooth. It works best after using the Liz Earle cleanser with muslin cloth. I will purchase this again when I run out!5
I got this toner with the moisturizer after getting the hot cloth cleanser sample in my monthly box and I do think it works well with the set. I don't think it really smells like much of anything, but it does have a subtle tingle (doesn't sting at all) which is refreshing. Following with the moisturizer makes a great, easy evening routine.4
