British beauty pioneer Liz Earle has a mantra: cleanse, tone, and moisturize, twice a day, every day. And thanks to Liz, those are words we can definitely live by. With its sublime floral scent (think fresh cut roses) and calming botanicals like chamomile, cucumber, and aloe, this alcohol-free toner soothes and hydrates even the most troubled complexions. In lieu of harsh disinfectants, hops extract tones the skin and swipes away bacteria.
SO this is the first time I have ever used a toner ad I absolutely love it! After washing my face I put this product on and leaves my face brighter, smoother, and moisturized! I have dry skin but hate moisturizers so this is the perfect in-between product. The size was also much larger than I expected so that was a plus. Very pleased over all!5
I don't know what's in it, but it's wonderful. After my nightly mask and after washing, nothing has ever made my face feel as soft as this. I bought it in a unit purchase with a wash and other items, they're the whole system is great.
I highly recommend the package.
This "skin booster" hasn't done anything noticeable to my skin at all. It does have a nice smell to it, but leaves kind of a tacky dry feeling on my skin. Just seems like a pointless step in between cleansing and moisturizing. Too bad too because I loved the Liz Earle cleanser that this is supposed to be paired with.2
I really like this toner. It feels great on my sensitive skin and does not irritate or dry my face at all. The scent is really light and nice. I'm always wary of buying products without being able to smell them in advance, but this is quite nice and not at all overpowering. I'm not sure if it is the absolute best toner out there for me, but it works really well for now and my skin is noticeably better.4
I liked this toner because it was gentle on my skin.It was a little more expensive than what I am used to but I would purchase again.3
Amazing product.. smells heavenly and fresh.. does not dry the skin at all... love it! strongly recommended for dry skin people...5
I have dry skin and this fine mist seemed like it gave my skin a nice drink of water. It was a floral like scent but does not linger on the skin.3
I love the liz earle hot cloth face cleanser and using this skin tonic after washing my face every night has made an incredible difference for my skin. The hot cloth cleanser alone works really well but combined with this tonic it can really work wonders!5
I love all the Liz Earle products I've gotten but this one is the most unique. I actually don't use it as a toner per se, more when I want something cooling and refreshing (I don't go to the beach or pool without it). It did leave a bit of a residue on my skin, which is why I gave it four stars and not five.4
Its nice to find a toner that isn't basically just pure alcohol drying out my skin to remove those last vestiges of makeup and oil from my face. Other alcohol-free toners usually require two full face swipes for everything to come off - but this one is effective w/ only one round.
Also it smells amazing!!! Refreshing clean scent!
