All skin types need hydration, but women with normal and combination skin often skip this step to avoid breakouts. (In the words of our favorite pretty woman, “Big mistake. Big. Huge!”) Thanks to this lightweight moisturizer from British beauty pioneer Liz Earle, there’s no need to fear clogged pores any more. Filled with botanical hydrators, this balanced formula leaves skin supple, smooth, and, best of all, completely clear.
I really love this moisturizer but I'm a little bit torn over the fragrance. It does what it's supposed to do(moisturize without pore clogging), however I find the scent a little too medicinal for my liking. Yet, I find myself going back to it again and again when other products disappoint.4
Just a nice, light everyday cream...it keeps my skin hydrated but without the heaviness and smells really clean. I might add products to my beauty routine but won't ever take this one out of it.4
Love this product. After using the Liz Earle face wash products I tried the moisturizer and it is amazing. I have naturally oily skin and this product does wonders for it - doesn't leave it feeling greasy but gives it the perfect amount of moisture throughout the day. Love it!5
When I pay that much for a jar of skin lotion, I expect the works, so to speak. It had an off smell, made my already combo skin a bit more oily and shiny, but it did do good things to3
I use it in the morning and at night
I love the smell and doesn't leave your skin greasy it is very light.
This moisturizer is not too thick or light. Feels great on my skin after using the cleanser and toner. I have oily skin, so I don't know that it's made a difference in that, but it hasn't made it worse :)5
I love this stuff! It is the perfect pair to the face wash. I have sensitive skin so it was difficult to find any lotion other than Cetaphil that I could use on a daily basis.5
I thought this stuff would be great...ordered it and wasn't so happy...the smell is not so bad but I was under the impression it was oil free? I didn't like the way it set on my face.3
I'm a big fan of the Liz Earle cleanser and toner, so I decided to use my saved-up points to get the matching moisturizer, without sampling it first.
It's much heavier than the moisturizer I usually use, and it kind of sits on my skin, feeling greasy. I've been using it for about a week and I'm not 100% happy with the results. I'm thinking it may be better for a night time moisturizer, but I'm disappointed because I was hoping that the complete package of products would work really well for me.
I was also sad that it didn't smell good like the other Liz Earle products. I wish it smelled like the toner! Instead it's bland and kind of... medicinal smelling, like an ointment, but not in a nice herbal way.
I'll probably continue to use it, but it won't be the everyday moisturizer I was hoping for.
This product is very moisturizing, and I think it is something I can use in the morning and at night. At first I didn't like the smell; however, after a week of using the product I actually like the smell - it's not perfume-y and smells natural. I have seen an improvement in my skin - it feels really soft too.4
