Liz Earle Pure Muslin Cloths

Cleansing alone isn’'t enough to prevent clogged pores: You also have to remove dead skin cells before they build up and lead to breakouts. These ultrasoft 100 percent cotton cleansing cloths gently exfoliate and thoroughly remove all traces of dirt, oil, and makeup, as well as increase circulation. Tightly woven fibers gently lift away dulling dead skin cells along with any remaining cleanser on your face. After just one use, you'’ll wonder how you ever washed your face without it.

Not impressed

I received this in a Liz Earle sample kit that I purchased and I was not impressed at all. I did not feel like the cloth did anything to help exfoliate or rejuvenate my face. Just one more thing for me to wash and hang in the shower. Not for me.

Exfoliate?
Sampled

I tried this a few times, wanting the gentle exfoliation to work with the cloth, but found it to be minimal at best. Whether using it with the cleanser or my own, I didn't feel it added much to my regime.

Don't be scanned!

Muslim is cheap fabric, about $3-4 a yard at the fabric store. I used to think I had to buy special expensive fabric for waxing my legs. Don't be fooled here too!

Annoying
Sampled

I used the cleanser in the shower so I found this cloth annoying. I would have preferred a loop on the cloth so I could hang on a hook.

Dryville!
Purchased

These made my skin SO dry for weeks on end and never cleared out my skin--only made it worse for a long time. I was looking forward to replacing my exfoliator for these but the towels made my skin horrific. I had dry patches EVERYWHERE and my nose peeled like crazy. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

really?

Overrated. If you have a cleansing cloth/system you already like, don't switch. It really is nothing special. Make sure you love that feel of muslin if you want to spend money on these!

Fun, would not purchase

I like that I got this in my box, but I would never purchase when I could use just a regular wash cloth to remove cleanser from my face. I don't understand the purpose really, and did not feel a huge difference in using it. But it sure is nice to have.

turns musty real fast

This works really well with face wash, but they smell moldy after one use. I'll use it to wash my face at night and then hang it up to dry, and by the morning it smells musty and moldy. The second time I used it I didn't catch the smell in time (my facewash overpowered it) and my face smelled moldy all day. I don't understand why this happens -- they're thinner than washcloths, so you'd think they'd dry out faster and be less prone to getting that funky musty smell, and I've never have my usual washcloth smell funky. To get the smell out, I have to wash it in hot water and add vinegar (to kill the mold smell) and then put it in the dryer, which makes the cloth shrink. Nothing else gets the moldy funky smell like these do, and because they shrink, don't expect to get much mileage out of them.
If you're able to afford to use them as a disposable face wash cloth, then they're phenomenal. But if you expect to use them more than once, I'd advise against it.

I Don't Get it...

These are like flimsy washcloths....which I already own. Not sure why I would spend $6.00 on something that I already own, in a sturdier form! Waste of money. Not at all worth it. Disappointed.
