Living in the big city, we're no strangers to clogged pores. That's because dirt, debris, and pollution get past even the most diligent cleansing routine and bury themselves deep beneath the skin's surface. Luckily, urban toxins are no match for this hard-working mask. It harnesses the purifying power of natural charcoal, ridding our skin of pesky impurities and giving us a much more radiant complexion. While charcoal pulls stubborn pore-cloggers to the surface, white china clay and lecithin work together to dissolve any remaining impurities.
I keep thinking that I should like this product more than I do. It does calm down my spots when I have them, but otherwise doesn't make my skin look much better. It does last forever, and the texture is smooth when going on. Taking it off can be a bit of a pain because I found that bits tend to get stuck on and have to be scrubbed off. It's just ok. I've used clay masks I like better.3
I love Origins products. That being said, I like this mask- my skin was noticeably smoother for about a day after use. I will continue to use it happily until my bottle is empty. My issue (and reason for the three star rating) is that I have bought masks from the drug store that cost a quarter of the price and have the same effect.3
This mask is a good mask... Makes my skin very smooth.. but I don't really see any kind of improvement in my skin.3
Ok, so I love Origins typically...And I like the idea of masks. But for whatever reason, they don't seems to make a big difference in my skin. I have plugged pores and adult acne.. I was hoping this would reduce the blackheads and appearance of pores but I haven't noticed a change.3
Dries quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth. I am not giving it a higher rating because I don't find it any better than other masks I have tried and do not notice any more radiance in my complexion.3
I have super sensitive skin. I used this twice and broke out in hives. Now I was dumb and changed ALL of my products cold turkey at the same time. Stupid, I know. So far, I've introduced almost everything else back into my routine one at a time, but I haven't tried this yet again. Something's telling me it's this mask that my skin didn't like. That being said, I liked the way it made my skin feel when I used it....so I might try it again just to make sure it wasn't the culprit.3
I have sensitive skin and found this product too abrasive for me. While I do not mind some tingling, I found the product to be uncomfortable.3
I've used this product a few times now, once a week and can't tell if it works. I wash my face twice daily and my skin isn't too challenging, but I live in a city and commute on foot, so I was hoping for some visible improvement. It's not so ineffective that I'm ready to quit and return, but I'd say it doesn't win on "wow" factor.3
but it doesn't do anything miraculous. i like how my skin feel afterwards and am happy that it doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. however, i bought it bc i was hoping it would help clear out some clogged pores i have in the t-zone area and i haven't noticed that it made any observable difference.3
I tried this product once and wasn't as happy with it as other reviewers are. The mask felt great and calming on my face but it didn't seem to remove as many impurities as I was hoping it would. Also, my skin reacted to the mask and I was left with a couple blemishes that definitely were not there before using the mask.3
