Living in the big city, we're no strangers to clogged pores. That's because dirt, debris, and pollution get past even the most diligent cleansing routine and bury themselves deep beneath the skin's surface. Luckily, urban toxins are no match for this hard-working mask. It harnesses the purifying power of natural charcoal, ridding our skin of pesky impurities and giving us a much more radiant complexion. While charcoal pulls stubborn pore-cloggers to the surface, white china clay and lecithin work together to dissolve any remaining impurities.
I really liked using this. It felt luxurious on my face and I used it twice a week for a month. However, I don't think it really helped to clear up my acne or lighten my scars. I wouldn't purchase it full price.3
I'm a big ORIGINS fan, and am usually really impressed by how well its products work and the high-quality ingredients it uses. I've heard a lot about the benefits of charcoal in masks, etc and was looking forward to seeing real results in my skin from the mask. This is a good mask, but for the price and size, I don't think it's the best on the market. I think it's definitely good and likely beneficial, but for the price/quality/amount, I'm not sure it's the best value or most effective. Certainly a good product with high-quality ingredients. I think I was just looking for a little bit more.3
I purchased this mask months ago and hardly use it because the few times I have my skin unfortunately gets irritated. However, I do like the texture and size of the product.3
This does a nice job of deep cleaning but for my older skin I wouldn't use more than once a week in the summer and likely not at all during the colder months as it's a bit drying.3
I keep thinking that I should like this product more than I do. It does calm down my spots when I have them, but otherwise doesn't make my skin look much better. It does last forever, and the texture is smooth when going on. Taking it off can be a bit of a pain because I found that bits tend to get stuck on and have to be scrubbed off. It's just ok. I've used clay masks I like better.3
I love Origins products. That being said, I like this mask- my skin was noticeably smoother for about a day after use. I will continue to use it happily until my bottle is empty. My issue (and reason for the three star rating) is that I have bought masks from the drug store that cost a quarter of the price and have the same effect.3
This mask is a good mask... Makes my skin very smooth.. but I don't really see any kind of improvement in my skin.3
Ok, so I love Origins typically...And I like the idea of masks. But for whatever reason, they don't seems to make a big difference in my skin. I have plugged pores and adult acne.. I was hoping this would reduce the blackheads and appearance of pores but I haven't noticed a change.3
Dries quickly and leaves skin feeling smooth. I am not giving it a higher rating because I don't find it any better than other masks I have tried and do not notice any more radiance in my complexion.3
I have super sensitive skin. I used this twice and broke out in hives. Now I was dumb and changed ALL of my products cold turkey at the same time. Stupid, I know. So far, I've introduced almost everything else back into my routine one at a time, but I haven't tried this yet again. Something's telling me it's this mask that my skin didn't like. That being said, I liked the way it made my skin feel when I used it....so I might try it again just to make sure it wasn't the culprit.3
