There are very few people who have mastered the art of blow drying with a round brush, which is why getting a professional blow out is such a treat. But we've been doing a happy dance ever since we discovered Spornette's Porcupine Rounder Brush, which helps us easily replicate blowouts at home. The brush's unique combo of nylon and porcupine bristles gently grips strands to make it easy to style, while also adding amazing shine.
I'm a hairdresser and this is by far my favorite boar bristle brush. It's a little hard to use at first but once you get the hang of it you're in for a treat.4
This brush is nice, However the handle hurts my hand when it moves, I wish it had a rubber grip or something!4
I have fine hair that has a tendency to get caught in the joints of most rounding brushes. I love that the Spornette Porcupine Rounding Brush is one piece, my hair doesn't get caught. I use the brush on shoulder length straight fine hair. The brush smooths the fly-aways. I would have given the brush 5-stars but it doesn't dry/style my hair as well as a ceramic barrel.4
Great brush for long, wavy hair. Used with a blowout it smoothed out my frizz and left my hair with volume and shine.4
Spornette is a great brand, and have seen good consistency with this brush. It definitely adds softness and shine to hair, is a good size and comfortable to hold.4
I have long fine hair and this does the trick. I'm not particularly good at doing blowouts on myself but this was certainly better than other cheap drugstore brushes I have used. I was able to obtain better results with this brand.4
I received this brush as a gift after requesting it based on the reviews on Birchbox. I do love it - the handle is easy to grip and does not leave your hand tired, and it leaves my hair looking silky after use.4
I have loved this brush since the first time I used it! It doesn't get caught in my hair and just glides right out. It also gives me that beautiful bounce I wanted. The only downside is that it does give me a bit of static some times; however, I have fine, thin hair and that just comes with the territory for me. Still, I love this brush! :)4
This is the first time I've owned this type of brush. I am really liking it and feel like it is helping reduce fly-a-ways and added body - my two needs for sure!4
After using my current round brush for a number of years and watching it slowly deteriorate, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and splurge on an actually high quality brush. After reading the reviews for this one, I added it to my cart and started to count down the days until it arrived.
While I still have not mastered giving myself beautiful, just-left-the-salon style rolls, this brush leaves my hair super shiny and silky and just overall looking much better than my old brush did. My only complaint is that it's a little prickly, but after a few uses, I've either gotten used to it, or some of the prickly-ness has worn off. Either way, I am a fan and would recommend it.
